God is Good
It’s our privilege to write write to you, our friend, on a monthly basis. We love to encourage and bless you.

The Church
As always, the Holy Spirit is working on shattering the passive, spectator mentality which permeates much of His church body. He desires that we return to the early church life style where every believer knows he is a minister (a servant of that which God has placed inside him or her). In the early Christian church, each and every believer was actively and intimately involved in the vibrant life of the church body. In many countries now, if you took the sitting and listening out of Christianity, you wouldn’t have much left.

Pew-warming is unscriptural. The New Testament pattern is every joint supplying. That is what we are working toward in our local church. Our desire is that each believer al-low the Holy Spirit to flow through him or her rather than working for Him. What we do in ourselves is never enough, and there is no rest. God wants us to live in His rest and peace.

A U.S. football game is a fun illustration of this. You are looking at 72,000 people who pay over $2 million in a stadium that cost $55 million to watch 22 men who are being paid over $10 million to dispute the possession of a ball that costs $79.99. Then you watch 72,000 people in dire need of exercise, and on the playing field there are 22 players in dire need of rest.

It has been stated that for many Christianity is the greatest spectator sport. I saw this clip on television in Canada. There were Christians in a Roman arena years ago. Suddenly a big lion attacks one of these men. Then these words came across the screen, “Christianity hasn’t alway been a spectator sport.”

We get to preach Good News!
The Good News that we preach is not going to be spread throughout the earth by charismatic superstars only. It is going to be spread by the body of Christ being a living, burning church where every member is functioning in supernatural living and giving.

1 Corinthians 12: 12-27 (Amplified), May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in (the full, personal, precise, and correct) knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. For His divine power has be- stowed upon us all things that (are requisite and suited) to life and godliness, through the (full, personal) knowledge of Him who called us by and to His own glory and excellence. (virtue).

God’s Wisdom
One of the main things that God has given to us is wisdom to succeed. You can’t earn wisdom. It comes from the unmerited favor of God. It is nothing that you can acquire with your own efforts. In the major book stores there are shelves of books containing men’s wisdom, the wisdom of the experts in this world. A great majority of these books are to strengthen and build up the flesh. Many of the books are labeled “self help.” What we need is not more “self help” but “God’s help.”

There are many books written by Spirt-filled believers and Christian leaders who encourage you to look to Jesus and not to yourself. God has raised up men and women who are established in the truth of the New Covenant and who will help you keep your eyes on Jesus. We highly recommend Jim Richards’ and Joseph Prince’s books which are based on the New Covenant - on what Jesus has done for us by His death, burial and resurrection.

Let us all desire to function in all that God has given to us. Our mission as the Body of Christ is to let Him flow through us in authority, power, unity and love. “As He is in this world, so are we.”

Favor Beyond Imagination = FBI
We have taken this for our “motto” for this year! You can too! That’s what God desires for us to experience--His grace, which is favor beyond imagination.

We appreciate you!

Thank you so much for how you have helped us reach the world in 2009. We did as much as we possibly could do with what God put into our hands. You have sown seed and the crop is growing to increase the seed in your barns.

We have accomplished much together. Many thousands of lives have been touched by the faith- righteousness message that we preach. How great it is to see people from around the world set free from the bondage of religion. I so enjoy preaching a message that works. We could fill books with the stories of all the people we have seen saved, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit.

God is Good

We praise God for good health and all the rest of life that He so freely gives to us. Personally, I believe we are in the best year of our ministry. God has spoken many wonderful things to us, and we are moving ahead and being obedient to His Word. Yes, there are always obstacles in life that try to dis-courage us. But God...!

Move forward -- doors will open

God spoke to me through James 2:26, For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

In one Bible commentary says this: ďActivate Faith, the Pathway of Mira- cles.Ē Faith inevitably calls us forward to action--to the work within faith. After seeking the perfect will of God for your life or ministry and often af- ter other doors have remained closed, God opens unexpected doors intended to usher you into His destiny for your life.

Revelation 3:8, I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it: for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

When He does open a door, and there clearly is no question that it is God--not yourself or someone else-- move forward! Such signs direct you along His miraculous pathway and lead you toward His realized will and purpose. Waiting in His pres- ence eventually leads to recognizing His moment. When God presents a clear, divinely-given opportunity, ACT ON IT!

This is what we have done for years, and unlimited doors have opened for us. I have never felt more excited about a new year than I feel about 2010. God is faithful and He will come through for us!

Don't quit

You canít faint and give up. Choose to believe that He will do what He has promised. You have to deter- mine in your heart to hold on to your dreams regardless of the obstacles, difficulties, and misunderstandings from those who are close to you. These are difficult days for many people. Fear, doubt, and time itself can wear you down. But God...!

Read about all of the heroes of faith in Hebrews to see that they hung in there because they knew God was faithful. Regardless of how many times they missed it, they went after what God had promised. Many people say they believe God, but it is only words and is not coming from the heart. And they prove it because when times get rough and tough, they quit. Donít quit!

God wants to encourage you

In I Timothy 1, Paul was encouraging Timothy when he said, Remember the prophetic words that were spoken over you that by them you can keep the faith. I have found out that God will do everything to encourage you when you are go- ing through tough times. He will speak to you or have someone else speak to you. His Word will highlight on the page, He will talk to you at a movie and even send an angel if He has to.

Once I was going through a huge test and a friend said to me ďRemember Dave, they canít eat you!Ē That was a very encouraging word to me.

Even when the bullets are flying past you and you caused them, God is still with you!

See Dave and Bonnie on Live Streaming every Saturday night from Faith Ministries Church International, Denver, Colorado, USA, approximately 6:30 p.m. (MST).

We love you. Have the best year ever!

LIVING FROM THE HEART
God tells us in Hebrews 8:10 that He has written his law on our hearts. Is that the Ten Commandments? Bonnie clarifies how we are now to operate in New Covenant law.

FIVE BEST DECISIONS FOR A LASTING MARRIAGE
Drawing from 50 years of marriage, Dave and Bonnie teach together on five of the major lessons they have learned that have helped bring about a long-lasting relationship.

EXPOSING THE ACCUSER
Satan's primary work is to destroy relationships just as he first destroyed his own relationship with God. Since his only power is deception, Dave teaches how to be victorious over his schemes.

RELATIONAL TOOLS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dave and Bonnie's oldest daughter, Tamara Thompson, teaches sound principles for raising children that will help them make right decisions and will build relationships with them that will last a lifetime.

Tamara thanks Danny Silk and his teachings in Loving Our Kids on Purpose for some of the content of her message.

Everything in God’s kingdom works by love.

It’s all about God’s love for us, not our love for Him. His love is not based on our behavior. It is based entirely on His grace and the work of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Paul prayed for us in Ephesians 3:17-19 that we would be able to comprehend what is the width and length and depth and height of the love of Christ. As a result of knowing His love for us, we will be “filled with all the fullness of God.”

When you experience God’s unconditional love for you, His mighty gifts will flow to others through you. Even when you fail, He loves you!

Joy to the World

It’s exciting to begin celebrating the joy of the Christmas season once again.

Praise God for the revelation of the Good News that has changes lives. It gives us Christmas the whole year-- every day--God manifest in the flesh through Jesus Christ, living in us, freely giving us all things that He has. Our part is to receive all that God gives us.

Righteousness was given to us as a free gift. We became perfect in God’s sight. We had our personal Christmas at that moment.

When we see Jesus and all He has done for us, all that He accomplished in His death and resurrection, and who we are because of what He has done, we are empowered to live and experience the abundant life. Receive His gifts of His love, peace and righteousness.

The Good News of God’s grace changes lives!

Here are a couple of good reports that came from my meetings in Chicago in November:

  • “Dave prayed over pictures of Marge’s grandchildren . . . her one granddaughter has Turrets Syndrome and has never been able to read any of her books out loud. Well, praise God, on Friday she said to her father, “Daddy come here quick! Want to hear me read?” and she read all the way through a book without one single outburst! She was so thrilled that she’s been reading our loud to her daddy every day since she was prayed for.”

  • “Marge, who came on crutches, has been walking a little bit more every day, with no crutches!”

  • Anita was totally healed from trouble with her colon and got a doctor’s confirmation.

  • Jean wrote, “It was only two days, but so many lives were touched and changed for the Glory of God! The message of love and simple faith, filled with great joy! What a wonderful message!”

Prophetic words from God through Dave Duell that will encourage you.

I hear the Holy Spirit saying this, Relax, relax, hey relax, I’ve got you covered. How did Paul finish the course? I told him, “I’ll be with you through everything. I’m with you when the ship wrecks, I’m with you in the meetings, and I’m with you in all the mess. So relax.”

Yes, it’s hard at the moment, but you have to see your persistence of faith and what it will accomplish for others. It’s not only for you, but for others, so be encouraged. Encourage yourself; I said I would never leave you or forsake you.

When it seems like your darkest hour, I’m there. I am there with you; I am encouraging you by My Spirit. Don’t let down your guard, keep your guard up, keep a smile on your face and brightness in your eyes, with good words coming out of your mouth.

You will see that the abundant life is knowing Me. Don’t judge your life by situations and problems that come your way. Judge your life by your relationship with Me. That is what counts, and it will bring you through and keep you encouraged. Rise up and rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in Heaven.

We rejoice in the Lord for the gift of you!

Thank you for your faithful giving and prayer for us. We can say that we are doing as much as we possibly can to expand God’s kingdom around the world. By the eyes of faith we can see that we have laid the foundation for greater ministry in the future.

Enjoying the grace of our Lord,
Dave and Bonnie Duell

Encouraging Reports
Dad, I love you so much! Thank you for letting God work in you so miracles can take place in peoples’ lives. My family is a result of Jesus flowing through your life. Our baby boy is so healthy and my wife is a completely different person as well as me. Jesus baptized us that night into the Holy Ghost and we have never been the same since that day in May of 07 at Chico, Texas. Christopher, Texas

We got there (New Day Church in High Point, North Carolina) and soooooo enjoyed your ministry. My husband went to the doctor today, and he is so much improved they were amazed. We, of course, witnessed to your prayer, and laughed a lot . . . Thank you. Betty and RC, North Carolina

Thank you for the time you spent with us in Knox City, Texas. It was a very powerful time for me. Dave shot me, sliced me and poured some laughing juice in me. And you know what? I have been fired up since then; I have actually learned to laugh . . . The town people see me happy again, and I finally got a job last week driving a truck in the oilfield. Thank you very much, Dave, and I can’t wait to see ya’ll again. Kade and family, Texas

You prayed for me in 1992. My eye- sight had been 20/40 and 20/70. It is now 20/15! Betty

Ministry in Kansas City, Missouri
We had a great time with Dennis and Denise Capra, who are on the leadership team of Faith Ministries International Network, and their wonderful church in the Kansas City, Missouri, Faith Ministries World Outreach Center. If you ever get a chance to go there, you will be blessed.

At the Jim Richards’ Seminar
We also attended the Jim Richards Seminar in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This wonderful man has so much knowledge about life and how we function as a human spiritual being. We respect Jim and Brenda highly for all the work they do for the Body of Christ. Their books, CDs and vision for the world have helped change our lives.

Working with God, a new teaching series
My new 4 CD set, “Working with God,” is tremendous teaching on how God desires to flow through you rather than having you work for Him.

Listen to what Jesus tells us, “Come into my home and learn of Me and see how I live and that will give you an idea how you can live. No longer do I call you
servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known to you”
(John 15:15). In other words He was saying, I am giving you access to My heart and thoughts.

Servants vs. Friends
There is a difference between the two positions. Servants do not know what their master is doing. They are task-oriented. Kind of sounds like the Law, doesn’t it? Your focus should now shift from the commandments to the present, from the assignment to the relationship, from what you do for Him to how your choices affect Him. Everything this side of the cross is now based on your choices.

When we become friends with God, our desires change. His presence becomes our greatest asset and divine encounters become our greatest memories. Personal transformation happens to us from these supernatural experiences. I once heard the Holy Spirit in the wind for an hour, and God spoke to me and said, “I am giving you a ministry called Faith Ministries.” That encounter changed my life.

Working with Him rather than for Him
Instead of working for Him, you work with Him. You do not work for His favor but with His favor. You let Him work through you, He calls you to represent heaven and complete His work here on earth.

Much of the Church is waiting for the next word from God, but He is waiting to hear your dream. He longs for you to take your place because He loves you. You are called to fulfill His visions and dreams, which in turn will fulfill you. He made you and gave you His power, wisdom and love.

Living in the kingdom
Do you see the difference between entering the kingdom and living in the kingdom? You enter through Jesus, the only Door, saying, “Not my will but yours be done.” You find life by completely abandoning yourself to Him. But life in the kingdom is completely different. Life is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. It is here where you find Jesus saying that you are no longer a servant but family and a friend.

You’ll want to order this motivating CD set today!

Thanking you . . .

Thank you so much for your faithful support that keeps us going.

Fulfilling His dreams for us,
Dave and Bonnie Duell

Recent ministry notes from Bonnie
Having enjoyed life with Dave for 51 years, I would like to let you know how much Dave loves ministering to people. Some have called him the “Energizer Bunny”— he goes and goes and goes without stopping when praying for people or “shooting” them with the power of the Holy Ghost! Ministry to people energizes him! He loves seeing them healed, delivered, set free, charged up.

The past few weeks saw him ministering in Greeley, Colorado, Knox City, Tex- as, at the FMIN U.S. Men’s Conference, at Faith Ministries Church International in Lakewood, Colorado, at a wedding in our backyard and to others by phone, email, Facebook, etc. In Texas, he got to speak in two schools to teens who then came to the nightly meetings at Abundant Life Fellowship and at least 15 got born again. We rejoice that countless lives were impacted.

Recent encouraging words
Hope you don’t mind that we share with you some recent words people have written us. They sure do warm our hearts and we trust they’ll encourage you to let your Light shine through you!

“We love and appreciate you. Thank you for going to the world and never quitting.” Lorin and Debbie, Oklahoma

“WOW! What a message last night! Dave, you were (as we call it) “Classic Dave” flowing with the greatest of Holy Ghost Ease bringing the most amazing message on earth! WE AGREE: We can’t hear enough about grace and peace! Thank you for always stepping up to the plate with GREAT EXPECTANCY from the Holy Ghost – GRAND SLAMS – never just walking the bases. We got the message we needed for what’s going on in our life today . . .” Les and Dale, Colorado

“I am from the Navajo Nation. I read Dave’s book, ‘Throw Yourself a Party’ and I accepted Christ. Thank you!” Edward, New Mexico

“Thank you for your steadfast and enduring belief that God is going to bring your visions to fruition! You are touching the world and all your dreams and visions are going to explode and be multiplied very soon - I believe with you! Thank you for hold- ing on to the dreams and desires God has placed on the inside of you. Thank you for not giving up, even when others have! Because I believe what God says is true, I believe in you.” Susie, Missouri

“Hi, It was fantastic meeting you at Haselbury Plucknett. My life has changed so much since then (for the better of course!). Through you, Jesus healed me from my depression and has come into my life. Everyday I am learning more and being led by the Holy Spirit. Thank you both so much.” Loretta, England

“Your relational skills and dedication to communicating that to us has changed our lives.” Susan, Austria

“The love and joy of the Lord that shines through both of you changes all of us, just being in your presence.” Tex and Melesha, Texas

What is your focus?
How does Dave keep going like this? He knows he’s loaded with the power of the Holy Spirit and it’s his job to release that power to people. He knows that is how we expand the kingdom of God on the earth—by preaching the Good News of what Jesus accomplished in His death and resurrection, and then releasing through him that same power that raised Christ from the dead that is in all believers.

You too can focus on what God has deposited in- side you rather than on lack and need. Then experience what He can do through you!

Learn what has been given you. Discover how to release it. Become all you were meant to be. Dave’s 4-CD series, You’re Loaded!, will help you change your focus.

Funny Event

We checked into a hotel and asked for a cot for our daughter Juli. What a surprise when we returned to our room later that evening. A portable crib was in our room, the British meaning of "cot." We got a great laugh out of this, and we were also complimented that the hotel manager thought we, at our age, had a baby daughter!

Two weeks of ministry in England
beginning with the Youth Camp

The Euro Youth Camp was terrific! Young people who got saved at camp some years ago are now the leaders. They have become the person God called them to be.

Our Network youth camps give the youth an opportunity to find themselves through workshops on drama, music, dance, my supernatural gifts class, and the fun team games that bring team spirit; then the great praise and worship and my teachings and ministry. Thank you to John and Karen Blackburn, Euro Camp Directors, who are great leaders and wonderful friends, pastors and partners with us in our Network.

Fifteen young people were sponsored by their city to come to camp, and six of them were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit the first night. Then we taught them all week about their identity in Jesus.

One young camper wrote, "You have actually changed my life. Now I know Who my Father is. My dad left me when I was younger, and I did not know that I had another father who is God . . . I am reading your book, Knowing God, and I cried, it affected me so bad!"

FMIN World Conference

In southern England at our FM International Network World Conference, our daughter, Juli Perry, led us in awesome praise and worship. Our Network Partners, Mark and Sally Harris, and their wonderful church family made our conference a great success. Hundreds came and we saw many miracles and lives changed. The teachings were crash courses in how to live in the New Covenant rather than the Old Covenant.

A woman who had four hip operations came on crutches. When I prayed for her, she said to me, "Letís go walking!" And we did! That was the end of the crutches. The next night the Holy Spirit lengthened her leg 1 1/2", and she and her husband both received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Another woman had arthritis so bad that she could not lift her hands to drink tea. Well, I chopped her and commanded that arthritis out of her, and her hands shot up above her head with no pain. Praise God, I love to preach a gospel that works!

Ministry of love

Jane wrote to us from England, "Your ministry of love is so tangible that we felt accepted and valued in Jesus. Thank you for demonstrating Jesus divine nature and showing so much unconditional love to us all. You always set a platform of love for the saints to receive what God has for them and this was no exception. We all love you in England and know our lives are all the better for knowing you."

Thank you for helping make this possible!

Thank you for investing in our lives and ministry. It's only forever!

Which prophetic words should you believe?

In this time in history, prophecies are coming at us through the Internet and media. Some are saying God's judgment is coming on America. Does that line up with the Word?

Men prophesy from what they believe. If they have the wrong message, they will be wrong in their prophecies. If they believe that God is judging America, then they will prophesy that way.

When you were born again, you were judged righteous in Christ Jesus. You do not need to let fear come upon you, but you can live in peace. As the perfect sacrifice, Jesus judged sin on the cross. "In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you" (Isaiah 54:14).

Righteousness is a free gift

You received the gift of righteousness, which enables you to reign in life. When you feel you are in a storm, tossed here and there, and you begin to worry and fear, remind yourself of who you are in Christ. There is no weapon formed against you that shall prosper. God has taken all of His anger out on Jesus and His purpose is to save people, not destroy them.

You can boldly say, "Yet in all of these things we are more than conquerors through Him who love us." If God's Word says that you are more than conquerors through Christ, then you are. You are not going to become, you already are. You may be experiencing some failures or setbacks in life right now, but only good will come out of your situations because God says so. You have the victory.

Thankful for you

Moving out in faith to expand the kingdom

Every time we move out in faith, we have to believe God for increase. We are headed for England for our European Youth Camp and for our World Conference for Faith Ministries International Network. Paul also said in 2 Corinthians 9:11, "Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and your generosity as it is, administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God." God has us working together to expand His Kingdom, which brings thanksgiving to Him.

It takes a lot of work and labor to set up a conference in another country. We reach out in faith believing God will meet our every need. Please pray with us for strength and wisdom and finances to see this job accomplished in an excellent way for His glory.

Thankful that you are on our team

We are very thankful for you and for your prayers and financial help to us in reaching many people with the Good News. We make a good team together! We feel like Paul when he said in 2 Corinthians 9:8. "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work." We are doing everything we can with the supply we have to get the Good News to the Nations. We appreciate your help!

A fruitful time in July

We have had a very fruitful and busy July. Our 13th annual Navajo Camp Meeting was awesome. We had a team of sixty people from eleven States come with us. There were over 1000 people in a big blue and white tent praising God with all their heart. I was privileged to preach the wonderful message of Law versus Grace each night. Many people were set free of religion. Many were saved, and filled with the
Holy Spirit with great joy. Many received healing. Sammie Begay, the host pastor and partner with us in the Network, did his usual great job of preparing a feast for all of us, not only spiritually, but also physically. They fed everyone a steak dinner on the final day.

What a wonderful night I had in Grand Junction, Colorado, with John and Carla Cappetto, pastors of Faith Heights Church. It was the Holy Spirit in action! I am so pleased to see the success of this wonderful ministry.

FMIN Youth Camp in Colorado

At our FMIN Youth Camp here in Colorado, the Holy Spirit touched and changed lives. That is why we do this. One young man from Texas came and experienced Jesus and His love. To look into his eyes and see tears of joy rolling down his cheeks makes all the work worthwhile.

Our youth team is to be congratulated for the great work they did in organizing everything and doing the work to make it a great week. The nightly drama was about my life.

We had 11 of our family members involved! We thank God for the awesome inheritance He has given us in our family!

Abundant life is yours

What a joy it is to preach the Good News and see the results that it brings to so many people! How can you ever get tired of hearing how God has given us everything we need in this world to live the abundant life? I know we live in difficult times, and it could get worse, but . . . God is able to make a way for us. Be encouragedóthis is our greatest hour to be alive. We will finish what God has created us to do for His Kingdom.

Godís plan for man was to establish relationship, not religion. Religion is manís search for God and the kingdom he lost. The original plan and purpose of God was to have a family of sons (female and male) that He could relate to as a Father. All of Godís actions throughout history were extensions of Himself to us, and what Jesus did for us by His death, burial, and resurrection was totally awesome. He made it possible for God to forgive us and make us righteous so He could put his spirit in us and tabernacle in us. His ultimate goal was always to restore His original place with mankind.

The focus of the Gospel

The Gospel is all about God! Itís all about what He has done, and who you and I are in Christ because of what He has done. Itís all about Jesus, His love, His righteousness, His grace, His forgiveness, His justification, His obedience and His sacrifice. The Non-Gospel is all about us! In the Good News, the spotlight shines brightly on Jesus and His finished work. But most sermons and books that we read put the spotlight on us. Most tell us how we should be living the Christian life better than we are. This is what Paul calls "a different gospel." Thank God for Jesus!!

Godís grace is His wisdom
Godís grace is the wisdom of God. Ever since Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, mankind began to relate to God by that knowledge. Many Christians still base their relationship to God on whether they do good or evil, whether they keep laws, rules and regulations. That is still eating from the wrong tree.

Remember how much joy you had when you were first born again? That lasted a few months until someone told you what you had to do to be right with God. But, you were already right with God. Paul said that our teaching should be comprised of this one thing: comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Instead, we compare natural things with spiritual things.

This is a truth: when you are working at your job, if you perform well, you will be promoted. But, you then think that is how God works. If you do well, you will be promoted. We then become trapped in our own wisdom. It is not what we do, but what Jesus has done for us! He has given us righteousness as a free gift.

Why was the Law given?
The Law was given to put everyone on the same plane: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No one was ever declared righteous by keeping the Law. Now, 2000 years after Jesus nailed the Law to the cross, we are still trapped in trying to relate to God through the knowledge of good and evil or laws, rules and regulations. We try to convince ourselves that if we do good enough, God will be on our side; and if we do wrong, He will turn against us.

Jesus did a finished work on the cross!
Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him. What was that joy? He knew He was totally destroying and annihilating the system of mankind trying to relate to God based on good and evil, laws, rules and regulations. He was made sin, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God. He knew He was making you righteous and holy!

If Jesus is righteous and holy and is the Head of the Church, do you think the Head would sit on top of an unrighteous body? The Gospel is so powerful that a man is right with God through faithóand Jesus has done it all! Jesus said, Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. The moment you were born again you were translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. What put you into the kingdom? Your good deeds, prayer life, your giving? No! The blood of Jesus did it all!

PEACE RULES

Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful (Ephesians 3:15). We are living in a time when it is easy to lose your peace. In my lifetime I have never seen our country as it is now. But, praise God, our peace and hope is in Jesus Christ. We know we will make it through all of these things because we have read the back of the book, and our future looks great! The situations we find ourselves in are all temporary.

So what do we do? We keep on preaching the Good News and seeing God’s Word jump off the page to set people free.

Miracles Happen

In two great churches in California, pastored by Rob and Mary Ruehle and Dan and Nancy Thompson, I preached in five services. People were saved, healed, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit and encouraged to go and do the work like the early church.

Nancy reported, “Several woman experienced tremendous deliverances. They now think they have a new life! One woman’s heart was healed, another had a hard time walking, and she is walking perfectly now.” One man invited seven people to the services and all got born again, including three Hindus.

Seven young men from Teen Challenge came to the meetings and God’s power hit them. They had never experienced the power of the Holy Spirit like that. What a deal to preach God’s grace and see hope come to people who never before saw God as a loving and caring Heavenly Father.

An All-Inclusive Savior

For my 70th birthday, Bonnie and I were given a trip to an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. This means that one price paid for our travel, food, lodging and all the resort offered. How convenient and wonderful. You don’t have to carry around your wallet—just an armband that shows you have paid.

One of our friends was visiting our home, and we were talking about this kind of a trip. Millie brought up the thought that Jesus is “All Inclusive.” Everything we need in life is in Jesus! There is nothing we can add to the price that Jesus paid for our forever stay with Him. He has paid for our salvation with His blood; by His stripes we are healed; the enemy has been defeated and kicked out of our lives; by His poverty we have become rich, and we are part of the family of God. He has given us His peace.

Our Heavenly Father has freely given everything we need on earth. 2 Peter 1:3 says, . . . as His divine power has given ALL things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. You can’t think of one more thing you need. That’s why I have boiled my prayers down to three words. “Thank you, Jesus!”

As humans, we must see our need before we can appreciate God’s best gift to us, Jesus. The Old Testament was designed to show us our need, show us our sin. It is meant to show us we can’t do it right, no matter how hard we try. The whole Old Testament is about “trying to achieve atonement with God.”

Self-focused or God-focused?

People were self-focused during this time. We think they were very God-focused people, but they were not. They were focused on their religious rituals, not on God. They thought what they did was for God, but it was for them. You see, the law focused everything on man.

Everything was about Sin. They were totally sin-focused. They tried to be good and do things right, but they failed all the time. God even put a system in place for the confession of sin, repentance, sacrifices, peace and trespass offerings, and other types of things to help people get right with Him. ATONEMENT means to be “at one” with God. It means to be in right relationship with Him, and to be able to “connect” with Him.

While virtually every page in the Old Testament mentions “atonement” in some descriptive way of things the people did, do you know how many times the New Testament mentions this? One time in Romans 5:11, Paul said, “You have now RECEIVED the atonement.” Jesus nailed the law to the cross, the law that we could not keep. He fulfilled the law for us.

Now the focus is on Jesus, not on us. It is not what we do, but what He did. Anything we do to try to add to what Jesus did on the cross is self-righteousness. People now should not be sin-conscious, but righteous-conscious. God sees you perfect with a right standing with Jesus. Jesus is our ALL INCLUSIVE. Enjoy the trip!

Please pray for our upcoming trip to Brazil for our Youth Camp and three leaders’ conferences. Only God knows how these meetings will change thousands of lives forever. To make these mission trips possible, we depend on your generous financial support!

Praise God for a Great Month!

At Christian Retreat Center in Bradenton, Florida, God did many wonderful things! Church friends from years ago came with their sixteen-year-old son. When Mike was four-years-old and was not growing, he asked me to pray for him to grow taller as he wanted to play sports. He is now six feet, six inches tall, and pro-football teams are already recruiting him.

In Rifle, Colorado at Rifle Christian Fellowship, pastored by our good friends, Dave and Kathy York, many lives were impacted. One man had been on continual oxygen for some time. He received a healing and removed the oxygen. Last we heard was doing great.

At Arise and Shine Ministries International, where our wonderful “children,” Nosa and Adesuwa Onaiwu pastor a vibrant church, the first meeting started at 11:00 p.m.! We got to our hotel at 4:30 a.m. after a glorious time of ministering to many. Our nineteen-year-old granddaughter, Kendyll, ministered with me. She has a gift of prophesying over people by
singing. We know we will continue to hear testimonies of the great things God did!

A Miracle in South Africa

My friend, Kevin, recently told me of a marvelous miracle that happened some years ago in South Africa. I had prayed for a couple and prophesied they would have a baby. They left the meeting very angry. A year later, Kevin saw them and they explained why they were angry. The woman had already had a complete hysterectomy because of endometrioses. One year after I prayed for the couple, their baby was born!! Praise God!

Man Healed of Incurable Cancer

Another friend told me this tremendous story. He was selling insurance in the mountains of southern Colorado and ordered a physical exam for a man who purchased the insurance. This man claimed to have been healed of incurable cancer when he was at a meeting where I prayed for him. The examination found no sign of cancer!

How great to preach a gospel that works! What you find in the Word comes off the pates and works with the same power as it did when it was written!

Your Giving Keeps Us Going

Thank you so much for your love and support. You keep us going. I do not get a salary from our church. My support comes to us from our traveling ministry and wonderful people like you. Thank you, thank you!!!

For what purpose did God create you?

Has God ever created a failure? I don’t think so! He designed you and gave you birth so that you could be a success by doing what God designed you to do with your life. He wants you to have clear guiding purpose for your life. The first thing God gave to Abraham was a specific vision. He showed him the Promised Land and said, “That is your vision. You must take your family there.”

Church in Chicago
Chicago Church

I look at my life. I had some instructions from the Holy Spirit but did not know how to get there. As I look back on my life, I can see a thread of direction that has brought me to this point. I continued to take step after step, believing that the Holy Spirit was guiding me.

It all came together when I was forty years old, and Bonnie and I were called into “fulltime” ministry. We then realized that we were right on course with our lives. There were many prophecies and many miracles that took place to get us to that position.

Listen to what Paul had to say to Timothy in 1 Timothy 1:18,19 in The Message, “I’m passing this work on to you, my son Timothy. The prophetic word that was directed to you prepared us for this. All those prayers are coming together now so you will do this well, fearless in your struggle, keeping a firm grip on your faith and on yourself. After all, this is a fight we’re in. There are some you know, who by relaxing their grip and thinking anything goes, have made a thorough mess of their faith.”

Notice that Paul told Timothy that it was going to be a struggle and we are in a fight. We often think if God gives us a vision, it is going to be easy. When you can see it in your mind by faith and begin to imagine it, that is vision.

You must have focus or you will just drift along in life. Choose where you want to go in life, and then be decisive and faithful in carrying it out. Having a purpose and vision has to do with your life existence. It enables you to answer the question, “Why was I born?” You can’t now know all the ramifications of your life, which God may reveal to you in eternity. Your vision will bother you until you take action on it.

Lee and Andrea Priest and Sons in Florida

When God gives you a vision and confirms it, nothing can stop you. It won’t be easy. Your vision will cost you your life, your friends, your money and everything you have but . . . it will be worth it in the end!

Miles Munroe tells what a vision is by this statement. “A vision is a clear portrait of conditions that do not currently exist, but which can exist. It is a strong mental image of a preferable future.”

As someone once said, “Run with a vision so you don’t get tired!”

Highlights of January
Here are a few highlights of this past month:

  • I had a great two days over New Yearís with my good friends, Duane and Mary Arneson and their wonderful church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

  • We had our FM International Network Planning week with Dennis and Denise Capra and Deb Ward here in our home. What a joy to plan out our year with the help of the Holy Spirit.

  • We held our first meeting for our Workplace Leaders Network. This is a branch of our FMI Network for business people who want to use their profession to expand the Kingdom of God. Paul and Maralee Gazelka from Brainerd, Minnesota were our speakers. Paul wrote a great book called Marketplace Ministries.

  • Then I ministered at Life Center in Chicago, Illinois, for three meetings on Sunday. I had a great time with the pastor, T.L. Barrett, and his wonderful people. This was my first time to be with them and the Holy Spirit set it up for us, as we had never met each other previously.

2009 -- Our Best Year Ever
We have started out the New Year with a bang. There is a lot of history that is happening now, and we are part of it. We are looking forward to our best year ever.

Keep Those Letters Coming!
We have so many wonderful letters sent to us from all over the World thanking us for the materials that we send to them. This Good News Message is changing the world. We now have hundreds of FMIN partners in our Network in 39 nations.

This is a good time to thank you again for your generous support and prayers for us. We want all the harvest we can get from all of our work and faith. Together we can accomplish the job that God has given to us.

The Fruit Has No Limits
We received this most heart-warming note from cousins of ours: “We really enjoyed the Fall/Winter Network News. Gentry (the graphic designer) is exceptionally talented. We are proud and thankful to be your relatives, friends and prayer partners.

“We recognize the way you just keep doing what God has called you to do. You have always been faithful in little and the Lord blesses you with much. Thank you for your many kindnesses to our family over the years. You planted good seed in northeast Colorado, starting right in our home over 30 years ago, and that planting has produced more abundant fruit than you could ever know. You were faithful then and as you continue in faithfulness, the fruit that follows has no limits.

“We respect you, appreciate you, applaud you and love you with all our hearts. The cover page is a picture of two people full of compassion and care for all people everywhere. The presence of Jesus in your lives jumps right off the cover page. Thank you again for the blessing you have been to our family.” Love, Norm and Harriett

An Incredible Healing
Another friend wrote this: “Through your ministry, my son Dan, his wife Cindy,. . . their son Robert, 9, and my 72-year-old Italian Roman Catholic mother were born again. Later on, I brought my Bible study group from Gunnison to Rifle, Colorado where you were holding a meeting . . . three from my bible study group totally turned their lives around after watching one out of our group totally healed of Multiple Sclerosis. He dropped his crutches that night and went home and started chopping firewood for his home. His brother drove by on his way to work, saw his brother chopping wood and called his Mom, “Mom, there is something wrong with Robert! He’s chopping wood and he is standing on his own!” I get so excited every time I think of that incident.

Time to Focus on Jesus
This is the time to focus on Jesus. We live in uncertain times and a lot of fear has come on people. They have seen their fortunes go to nothing and many have been laid off of their jobs. The Holy Spirit asked me, “What do you see? Do you see lack or abundance?” We have to look past all the circumstances and see the Father. That is how Jesus multiplied the five loaves and two fish. He looked up.

Here is the wonderful thing about having a relationship with our Father. We know He is faithful and will make a way for us. T. D. Jakes said, “When you are down to nothing, God is up to something.” He is way ahead of us in all that we do. I have total peace that I am exactly where I am supposed to be in my life.

We have “the faith of Jesus.” Faith gives you the ability to see and act on what you see in God’s Word. Everything is determined by how you see things and how you believe. In the light of Calvary no sacrifice is too great. We have just one life to live to effect eternity. Salvation is more than just an escape from hell. It is fulfilling what God has created us to do.

You Have a Call Upon Your Life
You have a call upon your life to fulfill the specific plan and purpose that God has ordained for you. Even before you became a child of God, that call was there, for God chose you before the foundation of the world. From The Message Bible in Ephesians 1:4-5, How blessed is God! And what a blessing He is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in Him. Long before He laid down earth’s foundations, He had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of His love, to be made whole and holy by His love. Long, long ago He decided to adopt us into His family through Jesus Christ. He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift-giving by the hand of His beloved Son.

For example, Paul the apostle was faithful to the call of God upon his life to the very end. From the moment of Paul’s conversion on the road to Damascus to the day of his death, Paul endeavored to fulfill God’s will in his life and ministry.

Be Faithful and Steadfast
God cannot use us or promote us if we are unsteady or unfaithful. That is why again and again in the Epistles, Paul encourages us to be steadfast. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. The Bible also says that whatever we do for the Lord is never wasted. We are in an eternal business, letting God flow through our lives for His pleasure. Praise God! Our faith grows stronger as we review God’s bigness!

You have blessed our life,

I am remembering one of our early trips to the former Soviet Union years ago. I was riding on a bus headed for Riga, Latvia, reading my Bible. The Holy Spirit illuminated these verses to me in John 4:38. “I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored: others have labored and you have entered their labors.”

I heard about pastors in the USSR who spent many years in prison for preaching Jesus. They sowed the seed with their lives, and we came in and received a great harvest. This was the time in history in the Soviet Union when there would be one thousand people in a meeting and 990 would pray to receive Jesus.

Shortly after I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, I was sitting in my living room all fired up about God. I said to the Holy Spirit, “I have got to tell somebody!!” The Holy Spirit quickly responded, “I will be your travel agent and set up every meeting for you for the rest of your life.” Wow, I didn’t have any idea what He had in mind for us to do. At that time it was hard for me to get out of the city limits.

Together we have accomplished great things!

Here is an update on what WE, you and us together, accomplished this year. Every meeting was a supernatural event with so many awesome things happening, I am unable to relate it all.

  • You helped send us to the Dominican Republic to minister to 500 leaders. We left them with 1500 books and CDs on Godís love, peace and grace that we translated into Spanish.
  • We went to Brazil and ministered to hundreds of leaders to two cities. We held a youth camp where many young people came to Jesus and had their lives changed forever. In April they expect 300 young people at the youth camp.
  • In England in April, I ministered at a youth camp for 200 young
  • people; many heard the Good News for the first time. The first night 100 young people were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. By the end of the week 125 received Jesus and many were healed and all baptized in the Holy Spirit.
  • Bonnie took a group of women from the States to hold our Network Womenís Conference in Europe.
  • We held our World FMIN Conference here in Denver with partners from 13 nations.
  • We had an awesome conference in the Navajo Nation with 1000 people present. This was our 11th year going to that Nation. Amazing events in the Holy Spirit took place.
  • In Strawberry Lake, Minnesota, I ministered to many at a week-long conference.
  • Our week-long FMIN Youth Camp here in Colorado made a huge impact in young people from across the USA.
  • In Wisconsin I ministered at a family camp for a week.
  • Our European Youth Camp in August in England is always a highlight.
  • Our Menís Conferences, both in Colorado and England, stir up men to love and good deeds.
  • In India we held our first FMIN Leadersí Conference. This was an historic meeting with 140 pastors who are a part of our Network.
  • In Ecuador for the first time there were almost 600 leaders present. We ministered in three churches distributed hundreds of Good News materials, and most everyone received baptism in the Holy Spirit.
  • We have been on the radio for five days a week here in Colorado.
  • Our books and CDs, as well as grace-filled books by Jim Richards, have gone to the nations.
  • Our Saturday night church services are available to the nations on the Internet every week.
  • We published a wonderful Faith Network News magazine that is sent around the world.
  • We ministered 159 times in eight States and in five countries.

Praise to our Great Travel Agent

You can see that thousands of people were taught and ministered to by all of us together. Praise God!! Do we have a great travel agent or what? We have asked for the Nations, and He has given them to us. This will excite you: our Network in now in 38 nations with the Good News!

Most of our great, big, happy family!

YOU receive our gratitude and appreciation!

We have said all of this to let you know that your gifts of love to us have greatly expanded the Kingdom of God. Thank you for your love and support to us. We desire to expand everything that God has given us to do. We feel we are just getting started with all God has given us to do. We have books ready to print and great ideas on how to increase Godís Kingdom.

We know that this year will be a great increase in the vision for harvest that God has given to us together!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for YOU,

An Exciting Year

Wow, where did this year go?

What an exciting year it has been! We have impacted thousands of people worldwide with the Good News. On a personal note, I had my 70th birthday almost a year ago, and Bonnie and I have been married for 50 years and in "full-time" ministry for 30 years. Another exciting event is that my wonderful wife and co-partner, Bonnie, is turning 70 years old on December 16. She is an awesome and amazing woman, and I am so thankful to have been the one to be her husband all of these years.

Ecuador

I just returned from Ecuador where I ministered in leadership conferences with a team of 14 people. The people we met there are wonderful and passionate people. We had a great time and saw over 500 leaders filled with the Holy Spirit. There were many manifested miracles. Twenty-five or more were born again. It was such a joy to be able to bring to them the Good News! Lives were changed forever.

One of our team members said this, "I was more certain the people were being refreshed and strengthened by this message when I recognized that the translator was unable to contain his own 'ah-ha' reactions to the teachings he was translating. Light bulbs were definitely being turned on!"

We distributed 1,000 copies of The Gospel of Peace and Leadership that Builds People (translated into Spanish) to leaders. We know that their lives will be turned upside down as they grasp the truth of the message.

I also had powerful meetings in the Chicago area and in Loveland, Colorado.

Thankful For You!

A huge thank you to each and every one of you for your faithful support and love to us. I am looking forward to the day when we will all be together, and God will show us everything that has been accomplished because of your giving.

All of our immediate family (minus several grandsons and great-grandchildren) were with us for Thanksgiving. We had a blast together!

A Great Story

"One of the many young people you prayed for came up for some emotional issues. He is 12 years old and was in one of your meetings with a friend. After the meeting he cried most of the way home, saying he needed to hold and bless his mom. After that they got a call from his grandma who asked for prayer. They went to pray and the boy said, 'Should I use the spiritual gun like Dave?' He locked and loaded his 'gun' and told his 86-year old Lutheran grandma to stand, and he let her have it twice! She fell back into the couch and got up totally healed. This boy can't wait to shoot the next person who needs healing."

The Good News Of Christmas!

Every thing about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit is supernatural. Aren't you glad that we have a Savior that is not dead in a grave but is risen and alive! How many millions and even billions of people are trusting in a God that was a man and died and is still dead. Many men have claimed to be the Messiah but died and stayed dead. They did not know the truth about Jesus.

History proves the Bible out from cover to cover. Ignorance can cost you your eternal life forever. Every religion outside of Christianity is based on what we do to gain eternal life. Even in Christianity there are those who don't know what Jesus accomplished on the cross by His death and resurrection, and so they still base their lives on their performance-what they do for Jesus. All of that is self-righteousness.

It's not about what you do-it's about what Jesus did!

Luke 1:28, the angel came to Mary, "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women." In the Message Bible: "Upon entering, Gabriel greeted her: Good morning! You're beautiful with God's beauty, Beautiful inside and out! God be with you."

The virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is a pivotal truth on which the whole claim to His deity hinges. Medical science has discovered that a child inherits his blood from the father. Leviticus 17:11 and 14 reveals that the life of all flesh is the blood.

If Joseph had been Jesus' father, Jesus would have had sinful, mortal life in Him. Since God was His father, physically and spiritually, Jesus had the eternal life of God flowing through His veins. Mary simply supplied the body for deity to inhabit. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).

Jesus came to earth to accomplish everything legally that the devil took away from Adam. He had to be without sin. Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, He became our sacrificial lamb and took all of the sin of the world on Himself. By doing this, He made it possible for us to receive His righteousness, and now we have become the dwelling place of God and the kingdom of God is within us. Only a loving Heavenly Father could think of such an awesome plan for His creation of mankind. This is the message of Good News that we get to preach to the nations.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men!"

I have been all over the world, and everyone is looking for peace with God. God has made peace with us. We as believers in what Jesus accomplished, are the only ones on earth who have peace with God. So today you can celebrate and rejoice for your great gift of salvation!

Rejoicing with you,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Dear Partners and Friends,

Fun Reports and Tributes!

We thought it would be fun to write a newsletter filled with good reports of our ministry from around the world, and then show you some photos from our 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary

What a glorious time we had with our family and friends who came from all over to help us celebrate and shower us with love. How we love our four daughters and their families who hosted this celebration! They gave tributes to us, and the memories will warm our hearts for years to come. We were so proud of our many grandchildren who participated by singing, being in a skit, playing instruments. Other long-time friends in ministry also gave us heart-warming tributes.

To God Be the Glory!

Dozens of people were baptized in the Holy Spirit during the meetings at the churches pastored by Dan and Nancy Thompson and Rob and Mary Ruehle in Banning and Redlands, California. Many miracles took place.

  • Greetings from Kampala, Uganda! It was such a pleasure to meet you at the Ministersí Conference in October! I do not believe that I have ever met a man so full of life and happiness and so gifted by God. You shot me three times and my life has changed. I now pray for people and they get healed! -- Uganda

I was just thinking about the joy that has been ours in knowing you both. Itís great when you have a relationship with someone that is wide open and free. We have not had a negative moment with you guys. Dave, you never cease to increase in your walk and intimacy with the Spirit of Christ; people are watching you to see the heart of the Father. Bonnie, your understanding of our Father and His kids continues to deepen and it shows each time we are in your presence. As for me and my house, we love being One with you. -- John, South Dakota

  • Congratulations on living marriage well for 50 years! When we saw the invitation we said right away, “Let’s go!!” Then we saw the date and realized it was not possible. But, we WOULD have come! So, we’re with you in spirit; toasting to one of the happiest, most loving, godly, encouraging couples we know. We wish you more of the same in the years to come. You are a definite match made in heaven and we are glad that skinny cowboy found that gorgeous Chicago chick way back when. -- Friederich & Nancy, Germany (with that son you prophesied we’d have who is now 12!)

Happy anniversary MUM and DAD! We love you and may you continue enjoying your lives as you are our personal role models and to others also. Love from your children, Bill and Lenah, Kenya, East Africa
  • It was such an honor for me to be able to meet you here in India. After having watched you on the Internet, it was very exciting to be able to talk to you face to face. I asked you to pray for my dad who had problems in his left ear and you gave me the chop! After I arrived home, my dad felt his left ear pop open and that closed feeling in the left ear that he had is gone now, and he is beginning to hear better, and we thank God for his healing! That was indeed a Holy Ghost delivery! -- Arun, India

Your lives have impacted multitudes around the world for the Lord Jesus and His Kingdom on earth, including Meridel and I and especially our oldest sons, David, Chris and Josh. The Word of prophecy, that you, Dave, gave over them 25 years ago in Greeley has come to pass and is still in progress. All four of our adult sons are now in the media ministry here in Jerusalem that the Lord called us into 50 years ago. We are sending out the Good News together all over the world via TV and the Internet exactly as you saw in a vision. Thank you for your Godly example of marriage and family. Bonnie, you are a ‘valiant woman’ as mentioned in Proverbs 31:10-31 -- Jay and Meridel, Jerusalem, Israel

  • Wow!!! You are still at it. You prayed for me about 20 years ago at a men’s retreat in Estes Park and God healed me of Multiple Sclerosis! Praise God for you and your ministry. It impacted me back then in a way that has kept me on a journey to experience more of God every day. -- Carl, Kansas
We enjoyed a lot in the presence of God in India. What we learned is really amazing. God sent you to India to encourage us. We saw the love of God in you; we have been impacted and will take the Word all over the World! -- Arunodai, India
  • I am very gratefully to you, my spiritual parents. Many people have responded to the command of our Lord Jesus to spread the Good News by your encouragement. My life has changed. I have undergone a spiritual transformation. Through all the books and CDS you have sent me, I am now a different person. The Holy Spirit is doing His awesome work in me. -- Vana, Ugand
I had worn glasses since I was four years old and when I was 15 years old, I received prayer from you, and my eyes were healed. I am now 28 years old, and they still are great! I also had flat feet and pain in my feet and now they are perfect, and I have a great arch! My family also experienced many healings. Your love for God and his family are so evident and your joy is contagious. -- Jessica, Illinois
  • I also wanted to tell you the amazing news about my uncle. You prayed for him in Hungary. My uncle suffered from Leukemia and he is HEALED, praise God! He just had his check up and his results were normal. Thank you for your prayer! -- Friend in Hungary
Isn’t God good! And He lets us participate in what He desires to accomplish on the earth today.

We rely upon your financial gifts. You are a vital part of all God does through us. Thank you!

Much love,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Life-changing Conferences

Our FMIN U.S. Men’s Conference was one of the best we have ever had. Many lives were changed and new relationships were made. Then Dennis Capra, from Kansas City, Missouri, who is on our FMIN leadership team, and I traveled to Coventry, England for the FMIN Euro Men’s Conference. What a fun group of men who got stirred up to realize all God has already given to them.

The first-ever FMIN Leadership Conference in India was phenomenal. I was so impressed with the wonderful people, and I felt it was such a privilege to minister to them. Sixteen pastors received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, many of them Baptists.

One leader expressed his joy this way, “The powerful and challenging messages encouraged me with renewed vision and fresh anointing, and rushed me into new change in my ministry.” So many of the leaders expressed gratefulness for the questions that were answered for them and the great freedom they felt. And they had never been to a conference where there was such love and joy and the speakers fellowshipped with them. They were in tears as we left and people said, “We are so blessed and refreshed in God.”

Traffic was unbelievable with “sacred” animals that they worship mixed in with zillions of motorcycles, bikes and three-wheeled carts.

Thank You

A world of thanks to all of you who contributed to provide accommodation and food for our Partners in India and surrounding nations who attended the first-ever FMIN Leadership Conference there. You have helped to spread the Good News message throughout those lands, with over a billion people now having the possibility to hear.

Moses, A Man of Destiny

Any time someone brings up the name of Moses, many different feelings and images come to each of us. It has been prophesied to me that I am a Moses to the Native Indian Nations. God told me to bring them out of religious bondage into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ with the Good News of the Gospel.

When Moses stood in front of the Red Sea, I believe it was a setup by God. Who took them to that position? God!! A pillar of fire led the Israelites by night and a cloud led them by day. Moses was the leader…following God’s lead.

Like Moses, at different times in our lives, we all find ourselves trapped between a rock and a hard place where the devil is close at our heels and trouble is staring us in the face. So what do we do? We follow God’s lead through our troubles and reach safety on the other side. Moses was a man caught between the Devil and the deep Red Sea. It was a set-up by God to show Himself mighty. Just like in Hebrews Chapter 11 where we find the faith hall of fame, all of the people mentioned simply did what God told them to do.

God Can’t Do It Himself—He Needs You!

Moses became God’s man of the time to fulfill God’s plan for a nation. As we look at this, it is the same in our generation. God is looking for a man or a woman who will believe Him, despite weaknesses and doubts, and become a mighty tool in His hand, an instrument in His hand.

In Exodus 3, God said to Moses, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians.” He can’t do it Himself; he has to choose somebody to represent Him.

God is always aware. He loves you and cares for you. His deliverance may not arrive on your timetable or in the manner you expect it, but it will arrive at the best time, the right time and He will not abandon you.

Perhaps this has been a difficult year for you. The future stretching out before you may seem gloomy or threatening. You want to be God’s man or woman, but you find yourself under the gun. And you may think in your moments alone, “Where is God?” He is in you and He has never left you. He loves you with a love that we cannot comprehend.

God Won’t Give Up on You

You may feel unqualified, uneducated, untrained, under-gifted, or even unworthy. These are excellent qualifications for God to do a mighty work. You and I become very impatient with our own shortcomings and limitations. You may think you should be further ahead in your life. You think you ought to be floating in orbit somewhere by now, and then you find that you haven’t been launched yet or even found the launching pad.

Whenever I start thinking like this, I remember the life of Moses. Here was a man who didn’t become effective for God until he was eighty years old, long after most of us would be riding a rocking chair or pushing up daisies. This is when Moses had his greatest time in his life.

God will not give up on us and will help us finish the course if we don’t give up. After studying the lives of all of these great men and women, I have come to the conclusion that success is the willingness to bear pain. Fulfilling God’s plan for our lives is not easy. It takes a lot of time, money, pain, friends, and it will cost you your life. But as God told me, “It will be worth it in the end.”

It is not an accident that you were born into this time in history. We are working together to change nations.

Our heartfelt thankfulness to you,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Summer Ministry

This summer has gone by so quickly, but we are thankful for the many lives that were changed by the power of God these past few months. I saw the awesomeness of God in a church here in Denver as seven members in one family got saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. One son was delivered from drugs and alcohol and the father was healed of cancer. Yea, God!

Faith Ministries International Network European Youth Camp - England

Our FMIN European youth camp in England was a great success. We brag on these youth camps because they are the best! To see young people accept Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and then make decisions that will take them on the path God has planned for them is the greatest. They make friends forever.

A Beautiful Wedding

Our granddaughter, Gentry Merrell, was married to Tyler Vigil August 25, in a gorgeous Colorado garden wedding performed by Bonnie and me. The young couple welcomed the guests and shared their vision to reach the world for Jesus. They also shared their pledges of love that they each wrote for the other. Enjoy these non-professional photos, and you might like to view the professional ones at www.pictage.com/496840.

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary/30th Year in Ministry

On October 4 we will celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and our 30th year in fulltime ministry. We praise God for His grace that enabled us to accomplish both of these milestones! We invite you to celebrate with us during our church service that night, 6:00pm, at Faith Ministries Church International here in Denver, Colorado.

THE FAITH OF JESUS

“In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him” (Ephesians 3:12).

Notice the phrase “of Him.” We spend so much time being concerned about our having faith in Jesus Christ that we often fail to move into the deeper revelation of what it means to have the faith of Jesus Christ.

I tell you this…Jesus did not leave us helpless down here on earth! He has given us everything we need to fulfill all that He designed for us to do before the foundation of time.

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Realize that boldness doesn’t lie in our own faith which can quickly turn into fear. Our confidence to move into deeper revelation of all that God has given to us rests in the faith of Jesus who lives and abides in us. As this becomes reality in our lives, we must diligently tap in and draw upon His bold, active, and dynamic faith, a faith that does not draw back as we face the evil one who opposes everything we do for Jesus. There is such a thing as holy boldness that is rooted in the faith of Jesus Christ, who dwells in us and in whom we live and move and have our being.

Colossians 2:10, “. . . and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” When you look at you yourself, what do you see? Do you see someone who is imperfect and lacking in many areas, or someone who is whole and complete in Christ?

The good news is that God does not see the way man sees. Man sees the flesh. God sees the spirit. He sees us already complete in Christ in spite of our imperfections. He sees us as new creations, partakers of His divine nature and more than conquerors over our faults. And He wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us. He sees Himself, along with the Jesus and the Holy Spirit in us. All of the potential of the all three are in us. Wow, what’s the problem? Us! It all what we believe about who we are now in Christ.

You have complete forgiveness, complete righteousness, complete favor and complete protection. Don’t focus on the lack you see in your life. Focus instead on how in Christ you are complete in everything at this moment. And instead of weaknesses, lack and defects, you will see His strength, wholeness, soundness and His faith in you.

Learn more this great life in my new CD series, The REALLY Good News! And consider helping me travel to India for our first-ever Leadership Conference there.

We love you,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Blessings to you for your faithful giving and prayer to this ministry! Again, it has been an awesome pleasure to see this “Good News Gospel” that we get to preach change so many lives forever.

MINISTRY TIMES

I had the privilege of ministering 26 times this past month. The month began with a bang at Strawberry Lake in Minnesota. I then ministered at our FMIN US Youth Camp in Colorado – one of the best we have ever had. On to Wausau, Wisconsin to do a Family Camp for several
churches in that area. After one day at home, I am headed to England to minister at our FMIN European Youth Camp. I was also a guest on our local Daystar television station. We have seen many miracles; people born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit. And the Navajo Camp Meeting at the end of June was my 11th year to minister there, and it was probably the best tent meeting yet. What an exciting week!

INDIA

In September I will be going to India for the first time, right after the FMIN Euro Men’s Conference in England, to teach at a FMIN Leadership Conference. EPHESIANS 1: FOUR WORDS TO CHANGE HISTORY

Ephesians 1:19, . . . and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

1. “Dunimus” = inherent power, (energy, might, great ability, force, strength)    toward us who believe, according, (in the exact measure or same degree) to    the working
2. “Energeia” = working, action, operative power of His mighty power
3. “Ischus” = great strength, physical
4. “Kratos” = power, dominion, authority

Paul here uses five different words to describe the awesome power of God that is placed at our use for His children. The word translated exceeding depicts something that is far beyond our wildest expectations. It is the greatness of God’s power. Dunimus refers to inherent power, power that it is in our possession but dependant on our releasing it or activating it.
Just like a great dam of water that has all the water stored behind it. It has the potential to release a massive body of water. It is an inherent power waiting to be released. Paul says the inherent power of God is beyond our imagination.

Immediately after, Paul gives us a glimpse of the vast potential power we possess in Christ Jesus when he mentions “the working of his mighty power.” Here the word working is the word from which we derive the word energy. It speaks of energy—His mighty power that is put into full operation.

Mighty power means raw strength, literally an endowment of physical power. His power is made available toward us “who believe.” All of those who come through the door of faith have access to the full and exceeding greatness and limitlessness of God’s power. God has unlimited resources so we can fulfill all that He has called us to do.

Ephesians 1:19-20. . . and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.

As we look into the Old Testament, we find that the “exceeding greatness” of God’s power was manifested when He parted the Red Sea and the Israelites were saved from the armies of Pharaoh. For the believer, the “exceeding greatness” of God’s power is displayed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

These verses say that God released His power in Christ at the resurrection of Jesus. He proved himself stronger than any force or being in the universe! It is because of the resurrection that we are delivered from Satan, the power of death and evil. When Jesus rose from the dead, taking the sting from death and giving us the victory, He proved forever that He is the Lord of all things. All five of these power gifts were used to raise Jesus from the dead.

As the Jews refer again and again to their deliverance from Egypt at the parting of the Red Sea, Christians must never get tired of recalling the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the resurrection that assures us of our salvation. It is in the resurrection that we have our greatest hope, eternal life.

In His Mighty Power,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Dear Partners and Friends,

Faith Ministries International Network World Conference

We have just had an awesome FMIN World Conference here in Denver, Colorado. Partners from 12 nations were present. Over 100 Partners from other nations wanted to be a part of this historic week, but their visas were denied. It was like a family reunion. Please go online and listen to our FM Church International Saturday night service (June 21) on www.faithministries.com. The week was well worth the hard work that it took to put on this conference.

One of the many highlights was that several of the leaders of the East African Pentecostal Churches of Kenya (1500 churches) were with us. One of these men, Japhet, was a vital part of the beginnings of this organization many years ago.

We met Japhet on our first trip to Kenya in 1981. What a joy to be with him and to share the experiences we had together so many years ago. We reminisced about the 7,000 people that were saved in our meetings there that year and the awesome miracles we experienced.

Making a Difference in the World

What a joy to know that we are making a big difference in the world with the Good News that we are so privileged to preach. We have a very busy schedule coming up in July and would really appreciate your support and prayers. And next month I will share with you about the awesome time I’m having at the Navajo Nation in Arizona!

Dr. James Richards

We had tremendous meetings with Jim Richards of Huntsville, Alabama. We will be working together to get both his and our materials out to many leaders around the world.

Homegoing of Dave’s brother, Wayne, and friend Larry Wright

Dave’s brother, Wayne, is now rejoicing with Jesus. Wayne was an awesome brother, dear friend, business partner and a man full of joy. Dave and Wayne had many wonderful times together. He will be missed! Our dear friend, Larry Wright, husband of Millie, of Greeley, Colorado, went Home last week. As we grieve his passing, he is rejoicing with his Savior!

You are already blessed!

Recently, I have been teaching from the first four verses of Ephesians 1. What a joy to know what we have already been given in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the earth.

Ephesians 1:3, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

We know that God’s wealth includes everything in the universe that He created, but as we look at this verse in Ephesians, it means much more beyond anything that we can imagine. If you have an understanding of what God is saying, it will put your entire life in proper perspective.

The blessings that God has provided for us in heavenly places in Christ are first and foremost spiritual blessings. Paul is not talking about prosperity in terms of dollars and cents, the homes we live in or the cars we drive. He is talking about spiritual blessings. But, spiritual blessings are related to material, physical, financial, emotional and mental blessings. We as believers are to focus on the spiritual blessings that produce the abundant life in the material realm in which we live.

The life of a tree flows from the hidden, unseen root system that lies beneath the soil. Life flows up into the visible tree out of the invisible depths of the soil, and the branches produce fruit that is good and abundant.

In the same way, our spiritual life is invisible and hidden within us. The life that Jesus imparts to us in the invisible depth of our heart flows up into the visible realm and produces fruit that can be seen. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, humility, and self-control. The person who is rich in spirit is able to manifest the fruit that will result in all of the physical and natural blessings necessary for living like Jesus did here on earth.

Understanding spiritual blessings is the key to achieving fullness of life.

2 Corinthians 4:18, So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings, and they are eternal. They existed before we did, and when we became God’s child, He deposited them into our new, recreated spirit by the Holy Spirit. All of the spiritual blessings you will ever need have been imparted to you. You received them the moment you accepted Jesus as your Savior. Spiritual blessings last forever because the Holy Spirit is eternal. But natural blessings are for a season and temporary, no matter how great or wonderful they may seem to you.

Our treasure should be found in God and not in things.

You are blessed!

Much of our praying is about what we want sometime in the future. We think that at a future time God will reward our praying and grant our request. We convince ouselves that we will enjoy tomorrow. The problem is, when tomorrow gets here, it becomes today, and we don’t know how to experience today.

FMIN World Conference Holy Spirit Activity

Honoring my wife, for her work for World Conference

BARJune 2008

We just returned from a much-needed vacation in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Many wonderful friends gave us this vacation for my 70th birthday. We stayed at a beautiful new hotel and had a superb time.

I was blessed to go on a diving trip and swim with the fish. To see what God has made for our enjoyment is incredible! My instructor was from Serbia and after the dive I prayed with he and his friend who were both healed. I then had the privilege of introducing them to Jesus.

My trip to New Beginnings Church in Chico, Texas earlier in May, to be with one of my spiritual sons was great. The pastors, Don and Kay McMasters, not only treated me like a father but also like a king. The Word and the Holy Spirit touched lives. So many people were healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. Here are some testimonies.

God spoke to a lady to drive one hour to the church that she had never been attended. He said that He had something special for her. That night, she was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.

We prayed for a young teenager who had been in a broadside wreck and was in a coma. I told her that in 9 ½ days something significant was going to happen to her. The doctor examining her that day said that “something significant” had happened to her, and she is coming out of the coma.

Another good friend of mine was having major heart problems. I prayed for him and told him what the doctor had diagnosed. When he went back for stints to be put in, the doctor gave him another test and exclaimed, “There is nothing wrong with you now. You have received a miracle!”

I have been preaching about putting everything in the present—not in the past, or in the future, but NOW. Ephesians 1:4, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Does this sound like a “done deal?” This is a finished work. It is complete, settled, and over and done with.

The blessings of God are not rooted in our expectation or hope, but in a heavenly reality. From God’s viewpoint, we possess the land of blessing right now. All of the blessings we can ever receive from God have already been created, established and are in a “holding pattern” waiting for us to possess them. We tend to look at the blessings of the Lord as “potentially ours.” But God sees them a “possessively ours,” right now in the present tense, not out in front of us.

The first step to possessing our inheritance is knowing and believing God has what we need. The second step is personally taking possession of what has been decreed or given to us. Most believers seem to spend their entire lives reading the will and shouting over the contract but never moving out and obtaining what God has given them. We sing about the promises, talk about them, write music about them, teach about them, read about them and yet never live in them. Why? Because we aren’t willing to fight the spiritual battles that must be fought in order to take possession of what is rightfully ours.

Everything you could possibly need is available to you. You are rich beyond measure! But you still have to lay hold of what God has promised to you and what God has already given to you. God said to Joshua, “Be strong and of a good courage: be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9). The degree of our faith is based upon our intimacy and confidence with our heavenly Father.

We are going to have a great World Conference in our church in Denver, Colorado, June 16-19. We will have four great life-changing days for you. We would like all of you to see and experience for yourself what God is doing through all of us together. We would love to see you in person and thank you for all the help that you give to us.

Love,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

Springtime in Colorado

It’s springtime here in Colorado, and it’s great to see the new leaves coming out. It reminds me of new beginnings. What looked dead has now come alive. I know this is our year of new beginnings, and I can see what we have believed for coming into bloom.

Bonnie’s Mom is 90 years old!

I want to honor my mother-in-law, Ellen Connor, who is celebrating her 90th birthday. Throughout her lifetime, Mom has had seven major operations and a car accident that put her in the hospital for three months. We celebrate her life!

Bearing Much Fruit in April

April was an extremely fruitful month. I went to England to minister in a week-long youth camp for 225 young people from London. Over 100 received Jesus as their Savior and were baptized in the Holy Spirit! We had mny miracles as the young people saw the reality of Jesus in their lives.

Here is a report from Mark Hobbs, the youth director. "It has been an amazing week for everybody involved...youth and adults alike! We were so blessed! Thank you for making the trip and sowing your life into us here. We SO APPRECIATE IT!!"

I also preached at Praise Chapel, a church in London pastored by Kofi and Jayne Banful. Wow, what a wonderful church filled with great people!

Bonnie went to England the same week with 15 ladies from the USA for the FMIN European Women's Conference and Tour. Women from nine nations attended. Generations were impacted with the message of God's love and grace. Forever relationships were established. Our daughter, Juli, led praise and worship, and we sponsored two of our granddaughters on the trip, McKayla Merrell, 14, and Kylee Bristol, 13.

Metro Food Bank

I ministered at the Metro Food Bank in Denver, Colorado. A tremendous group of volunteers from our local church ministers there many times monthly! It was such a joy and privilege to work together with them.

An Invitation to our FMIN World Conference

As we are talking about conferences, please consider coming to Denver, Colorado for our Faith Ministries International Network World Conference, June 16-19. We will have a week of celebrations with you and other friends from around the world. It would be so great to see you and personally thank you for all of your love for us. Go to www.fmin.org/events to register.

Our Weekly Messages on the Internet

I hope you have been listening to my messages on the Internet. Our services are on video as well as audio. We have so many people from around the world watching and enjoying our services. If you haven't been there yet, go to www.faithministries.ws Media Resources to find both audio and video messages.

Be a Hero of the Faith

Here are a few nuggets from my recent messages on "Be a Hero of the Faith." Life today is nothing more than a collection of results of the choices you have made. Today’s decisions are tomorrow realities.

Paul has set the example for us to follow. In II Timothy 3:10-15, Paul states, You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings–what kinds of things happened to me . . . the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it . . . .

Paul was faithful to the end. It has been said, "It is not how you start, but how you finish." As a child of God you are called of God. You have a call on your life to fulfill the specific plan and purpose that God has ordained for you. Whatever God calls you to do, He will also gift you to be able to accomplish. In other words, He will furnish you with the spiritual endowment or equipment to fulfill your call.

Faith gives you the ability to see and act on what you see in God’s Word. Everything is determined by how you see things and how you believe. In the light of Calvary no sacrifice is too great. We have one life to live to effect eternity. Salvation is more than just an escape from hell. It is fulfilling what God has created us to do.

God has given each one of us one life to be lived, shared, given and experienced. Life is so brief, and if eternity is as long as I think it is, we must not let life just pass by. Life is expressed by deeds. And all of this happens through love. As I John 3:18 says, "My dear children, let's not just talk about love, let’s practice real love."

Loving you,

Dave and Bonnie Duell

God’s life-changing power manifests in Dominican Republic

We have had a great ten days in the Dominican Republic seeing hundreds of lives changed by the power of God’s great grace. What a privilege to minister to over 500 passionate and loving ministry leaders teaching them how to be effective leaders with their God-given gifts.

We distributed 1,000 books by James Richards that we printed in Spanish: Leadership that Builds People and Grace the Power to Change. We also gave out 500 copies of Don Krow’s Discipleship Evangelism CDs in Spanish.

Our wonderful team of young adults ministered in churches and prayed for many people. It is always a joy to travel and minister with Dennis and Denise Capra, our co-workers in Faith Ministries International Network.

Phenomenal results in Brazil!

The first-ever FMIN Youth Camp was held in Joao Pessoa, Brazil, with 145 campers, including a team of 15 from the U.S.A. We are praising God for transforming the hearts of so many young people. I thank Him for giving me the energy to minister with enthusiasm at the Youth Camp and in two leadership conferences and to many hundreds at evening church meetings.

God is giving us the Nations!

We have asked for the Nations and God is giving them to us. To see this message of God’s grace and love set the people free from the old bondages of religion is worth everything it takes to go on these trips.

Clifton Coulter commented on meetings that I held at the church he and Geri pastor, Grace Family Outreach, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, in January: “These meetings had the biggest impact on our people that I’ve seen since I’ve been in ministry for 30 years!”

Erin’s Testimony

Last May at Dave’s meetings in Chico, Texas, my life changed. Up to that point I had been living my life; since then I have been living God’s life.

I was diagnosed bi-polar, schizophrenic, generalized anxiety disorder, borderline personality disorder, and I was an addict. I went to the doctors for help because I had been a self-abuser since the age of 12. I had been written off as crazy and left sinking in a sea of pills, when I surrendered the fight and gave it to God. I decided I wasn’t going to see the doctors anymore, and I wasn’t going to take their pills, and I wasn’t going to . . . except that there was no cure for me.

A few days later I heard of a man named Dave Duell. The spirit of fear told me not to see him, and I knew I had to . . . As I stepped into the aisle, I felt like I was being suffocated. Breathing had been hard for a few days, but now it was almost impossible. I could barely speak, but I told him, “There is something wrong in my head.” And I held out my scar-covered arms.

Dave reached out to touch me; my heart was beating so fast, no air was passing into my lungs, and then, before I felt Dave’s hand against me, Jesus came straight through him and wrapped me in His arms. His air filled my lungs. Everything disappeared. It was only He and I. Everything in me changed. I had given my fight to God and He had sent Jesus to defeat it.

Now I am medicine free, drug free, and fear free. I haven’t cut or thought about suicide once. I don’t obsess over death all day. I am cured by His love. Everything in me has changed . . . .

From the pastor: “Erin told you that she and her husband have been trying for a few years to have a baby. You told her that it would take some time for everything to heal, but when you came back next May, she would be carrying a baby. Well, she went to the doctor yesterday, and you guessed it—she is!

It starts with the right belief system

You have to start from the right belief system—the Good News Gospel that Paul preached. Many believers today are defeated because they do not know the God of the New Covenant of grace. Today, God is blessing you with His grace, His undeserved, unearned and unmerited favor in every area of your life. Grace is also the power to change—God’s ability inside you. You can stop trying to deserve and earn your own acceptance before God with your own works and efforts.

Do not read the Bible because you want to qualify for God’s blessings. Read the Word to find out about your blessings and inheritance in Christ. Giving thanks to the Father Who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light (Colossians 1:12). It is the Father who has qualified you by sending His Son to save you. He has qualified you to be a partaker of His favor, healing, prosperity, love, joy, peace and blessing, all purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Be thankful!

The role of the Law is to bring you to the end of yourself, to bring you to a place where you know in no uncertain terms that you cannot do anything to deserve God’s salvation, acceptance, blessings and favor. The Law is all about you focusing on yourself. The New Covenant of grace is all about you focusing on Jesus. The devil wants you self-conscious, but God wants you Jesus-conscious.

Old Testament prophets call your sins to remembrance while New Testament preachers call your righteousness to remembrance. Old Testament preachers tell you what is wrong with you, while New Testament preachers tell you what is right with you because of what Jesus has done.

Right believing always produces right living!

Thanking God,

Dave and Bonnie

Our Thanks To You

Thank you for your support and love. Our prayers are with you, and we know that God is doing great things in your life. You make it possible for us to do what God has called us to do.

Outstanding Time of Ministry in Texas

It was such a treat for me to go to Dallas, Texas, and minister for a pastor friend, Nosa Onaiwu of Arise & Shine International Ministries, whom I met last fall. I was treated like a king from the time they picked me up at the airport until they watched me go through security to fly home.

The first service with this wonderful group started at 11:00 pm, and I started preaching at 12:50 am. What a joy! I arrived at my hotel at 4:30 am. Over 40 people received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. I believe I prayed for everyone present. Many, many miracles happened.

I also ministered at Shepherd’s House Ministries with Richard and Dorothy Van Winkle. Our relationship goes back to 1972, when I was still raising cattle. It was a joy to relate the great things we saw and experienced even back then. Life truly is based on relationships.

It is so great to visibly see people receive the Good News Message. You can see their faces light up when they realize that God loves them. Their lives are changed forever.

The Unpardonable Sin

When I was growing up, I never heard much about the unpardonable sin. It was only when I became a pastor and visited Christians in the hospital that I realized so many were having mental breakdowns, thinking they had committed the unpardonable sin. It has been said that Christians occupy almost 75% of the beds in mental hospitals.

There are erroneous teachings that say, “all sins can be forgiven, but if you commit the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit, there is no forgiveness.” That’s how that sin came to be known as the “unpardonable sin.”

So many Christians live with this fear in their lives: have I committed this sin? If you don’t know the Good News Gospel of God’s grace, this teaching could cause you to fall into fear and live a defeated life. The devil will oppress you with thoughts of guilt and condemnation. You will think that you have to do something more than what Jesus has provided in His death and resurrection. You will get into performance and try to add to what Jesus has already done for you.

Once you know that Jesus has done everything for you, and there is nothing that you can add to that, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that a Christian CANNOT commit the unpardonable sin. You are what you believe.

There can be times when you think negative thoughts about the Holy Spirit. There is no sin of which a Christian is not forgiven. When you understand why God sent the Holy Spirit, you will realize that the unpardonable sin is simply to consistently reject Jesus.

Who was Jesus speaking to when He spoke of the unpardonable sin in Matthew 12:24-32? He was speaking to the Pharisees, who continually rejected Him as their Savior and even plotted to kill him on several occasions. They even accused Him of “having an unclean spirit, saying, He has Beelzebub. By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.” Jesus’ response was in verses 31-32, “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven…but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to condemnation.”

The next verse tells us that it is “because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.” But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”

What sin will keep you out of heaven?

The Holy Spirit is present today to witness about Jesus. The sin that will keep you out of heaven is rejection of Jesus. A believer has already received the gift of eternal life and will never be “subject to eternal condemnation.”

Learn more about this subject. I now have it on CD for $5 and DVD for $10.

Dave and Bonnie

    Prophetic Words for 2008
We have started off with a bang in this year of New Beginnings. Here are some prophetic words given to me by a friend. If this fits what you believe for this year, receive these words for yourself.

“Your victory is in sight. It is not far. Have I not said that your latter days would be greater than your beginning? It is true. As you continue to march forward, straight ahead, not looking to the left or the right, your victory is at hand. Sing in times of favor; sing in times of war. The victory is drawing nigh. Freedom reigns in your life.

Step into the wheel within the wheel. It is your destiny. I am perfecting what I have begun in you.  Strengthen; strengthen yourselves in me. I have called you My children. You know your place. You know your rightful place. Speak loud. Speak with authority. For I have given you the land.

You must decrease while I increase. Be at peace; be at peace. The battle has been won. The victory is yours.  I, as your commanding officer say, “Continue on My children, continue on. There will come a day when My glory will fill the earth and you will help bring it.  My glory will be displayed and signs and wonders will be performed in My name.  Many will flock to see and then many will come into the kingdom. The blind will see, the lame will walk, and the dumb will speak, demons will be cast out, limbs will grow, new hearts will be given, relationships restored.”

You have been My forerunner. You have been the one to show others that these things are possible. You are not out of the game. You are a strong player. Do what I do, say what I say, and your day will be peace. Keep looking forward. My bow and arrow will hit the mark.  Be conscientious of My presence. Know that I am He who sits on the throne.  I am the King.

Peace, peace, peace be unto you, My children. You have been like a tiger, unafraid of what people say. Like a tiger, you have bravely gone after what you have seen in My Word. You have leapt over walls that have gotten in your way. You have torn apart the enemy with your claws. You are still that tiger.”

Another word from the same friend, “Strengthen, strengthen, strengthen My child. I speak strength to you. The war has been won. The victory is nigh. Be diligent to respond in strength. My hand is upon you. My shield protects you.

I am a mirror to you. Be strong. Withhold nothing. Yes, praise and worship are so key. You do that so well, My children. I savor the sweetness of your praise and worship and as you continue, I will visit you with My glory. Yes, My glory will be seen throughout all the earth and in your life. You are not defeated. You have just begun. Sing praises to Me. Lift your voice.

Know that the battle has been won. Do not counteract the lies. Be at peace. Be strong. I am your strength. Diligence. Diligence. Know that it is I who have declared from My throne that the victory is yours.

My son and daughter, I love you. Just watch me. Do what I do, and say what I say. Yes, I see the end from the beginning and all is well. It is good. You are faithful. All is well.”

The Holy Spirit told me, “WHAT WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR WILL KEEP YOU BUSY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES.”

    You Are Impacting the Nations!
The exciting thought is that you, as our Partner, have a great share in all that we are doing here and around the world. God has opened up so many doors of ministry to us. Nations are asking us to come and give them the Good News. We are preparing to go to the Dominican Republic next month for two large leadership conferences in order to give them the Good News that God loves them and to expose all the lies they’ve heard about God. We have a Good God who has given us a New Covenant that cannot be broken.

    Great January Meetings
I had great meetings this month, firstly, with Duane and Mary Arneson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; then in Bonne Terre, Missouri, with our wonderful friends, Clifton and Geri Coulter. The week after I left, the Coulter’s home burned down, and Clifton’s brother died in the fire. Our prayers and support are with them.

You can hear our Saturday night FMCI church services under the Media Resources tab above. I recently taught on “The Unpardonable Sin” and have made it available on CD for a $5.00 donation. Do you know a Christian living in fear, wondering if they committed this sin? This teaching will answer their questions! Just click here to go to our web store to make your donation and order this CD.

    A Big Thank You!

Thanks to all of you who gave toward Dave’s 70th Birthday Vacation! We have planned a time in May of this year to go to Playa del Carmen, Mexico and our hearts are full of gratitude!

    MIRACLE REPORTS

A man with a broken foot came to our FMIN Men’s Conference. He was prayed for on Saturday night. He went to bed and in the morning a friend of his knocked on his door, and he forgot he had a broken foot and jumped out of bed and answered the door. He was totally healed, but he had to continue to wear the orthopedic boot because he brought no other shoes.

While I was preaching at a conference, I was impressed to invite anyone with an impossible situation to come forward. A woman responded and told how her son was a meth addict and in very bad shape. I gave her a word of knowledge that her son would be delivered in 21 days. Exactly 21 days later, he drove from Oklahoma to Colorado and told his Mother that he was free from meth. You can imagine how they were rejoicing!

Jim came to our church with a large sore on his back that would not heal for 21 years. He lived in Europe when the sore appeared, probably a radiation burn. That night the Holy Spirit healed his back, and we prayed for the sore. He came back a week later and the sore was healed with new skin.

Larry, a close friend of ours, had been having chest pains for years, with numerous heart surgeries, but no relief. I prayed for him the first of December and he has not had one pain since.

Here is an interesting healing. I was recently preaching when a family brought their dog that needed a $900 operation. I “shot” the dog with the power of the Holy Ghost, and he went scooting backwards on his rear end for about two feet. He shook for 30 minutes and was healed. Wow, what a good God we have!

Another man at the same meeting had shoulder pains for four years and could not raise his arms. He was instantly healed and his life was changed forever as he experienced God’s love for him.

A woman with multiple sclerosis and in a wheel chair had not walked for three years. After prayer she stood up and could feel her entire body touched by the Holy Spirit.

We could write a book with all that we have seen and heard even in the last month! Praise God!

    God is For YOU,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

    BARJanuary 2008

    Happy New Year!

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”
    (1 Thessalonians 5:16).

Only by His wonderful grace can we see from His perspective, rejoice always, and continually give thanks. Only by His life in us can we walk in humility and live together in the victory of His cross. Only by His Spirit in us can we obey His Word and follow His ways. So we can thank Him—not only for the sunny days and happy moments—but even more for those things that show us our need, and draw us closer to Him.

    Bonnie and Dave

Thank God for the Holy Spirit who convicted us of sin so that we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior and received peace with our Creator. And now the Holy Spirit’s job is to convince us of our righteousness. Thank God for Jesus who made it possible for God to put His very own Spirit in us, and then we were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Thank God for the Good News message that we get to preach, that God is not angry and that He loves us.

“By the grace of God I am what I am. His grace, which was bestowed upon me, was not in vain”
    (1 Corinthians 15:10).

The way we continually talk about our own inability is an insult to our Creator. Get into the habit of examining the things that God says about you and how He sees you. When you say “I’m not righteous; I’m not a saint,” it means — “Lord, it is impossible for You to save and make me righteous; there are so many imperfections in my brain and body; no, Lord, it isn’t possible for you to make me holy.” That may sound wonderfully humble before men, but before God, it is an attitude of defiance and not knowing how much God has done for you in Jesus. It’s your sin that qualified you for your salvation.

Again, the things that sound humble before God may sound the opposite before men. To say — “Thank God, I know I am saved and sanctified” is the height of humility in God’s view. It means you have so completely abandoned yourself to God that you know what He says is true. No need to consider whether what you say sounds humble before men or not, but always be humble before God, and let Him be your Everything.

“Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ”
    (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Paul’s secret joy was that God took him, a rebel law man who was against Jesus Christ, and made him a spokesman for Him. Then he wrote two-thirds of the New Testament. Paul’s joy was to be everything the Lord wanted him to be. He had no other interest. Jesus’ victory is our victory, and we need to learn to walk in that victory regardless of the temporary circumstances we find ourselves in as we live life. We are more than conquerors through Him.

Giving of thanks can do awesome things! Colossians 3:15, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body: and be thankful.”

    70th Birthday Celebration
A huge thanks to all of you who sent such kind words of love for my 70th birthday celebration! Thanks also to all who contributed to our trip! We will include some photos of the celebration next month.

    December Parties
We had many fun parties in our home during the Christmas season. The Word says that we are to be ‘given to hospitality,’ and we love doing it!

    Family News
Bonnie’s Mom, Ellen, 89, successfully underwent a mastectomy. We are thankful she bounces back from the adversities of life.

    Dave, Bonnie, Joke
    and Dave Ward

We enjoyed spending a few days in the Chicago area with Bonnie’s newly-found brother, Dave Ward, his family and some other relatives. What a blessing to be connected to loving family members!

Each year during the Christmas season, we take our daughters and their families to the Embassy Suites for several days of fun, relaxation and memory making. As our family has continued to expand, we felt that a lasting gift would be to give the memories made by being together.

    2007
Last year was a great year of expanding the kingdom of God, and you are in on all that was accomplished for His glory. We have ministered to thousands of people in eight nations of the world this year. Our books and CDs have gone to many more nations. Our radio program has touched Colorado, and our church services have gone out over the Internet. Thank you, Jesus!

    Banning, California
I had a great time in Banning, California with our wonderful friends Dan and Nancy Thompson, pastors of Faith Builders Family Church. The services were awesome with many healings and Holy Spirit manifestations. I also had a service with Rob and Mary Ruehle, pastors of Abundant Life Fellowship in Yucaipa. Both of these churches are partners in our Faith Ministries International Network.

I ministered to a fourteen-year-old girl who had a paralyzed arm from birth. It was also four inches shorter than her other arm. I shot it with the power of the Holy Spirit and she was instantly healed, moving her arm freely. Wow, what a happy moment!

A man who was studying to be a Buddhist monk was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. His mother was thrilled, and they both rejoiced together.

    We love and appreciate you,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

Tributes from the Women in Dave’s life on His 70th Birthday

You, my husband are the man of all men. What can you say about a man who has cheerfully cleaned up a flooded basement three times in one year? A man who will gladly clean the entire house before a party or for overnight company (which is often). You washed loads of laundry, loads and empties the dishwasher, makes beds and kisses me in between chores, while I’m working in our home office.

I wouldn’t trade you for a million men. Having celebrated 49 years of marriage, we could never have accomplished so much to make a difference on the earth without working together. As we often say to each other, “We’re a great team!”

You are loved deeply by our four married daughters and their families. Doesn’t that speak loudly about a man’s character and loving heart? And my mother, Ellen, 89, thinks you are the greatest! She exclaims, “In the 50 years I have known Dave, we have never had an argument or a disagreeable word between us.”

Dave, you minister tirelessly to thousands, getting them set free from anything the enemy has tried to trap them in, even false religion. You have “spiritual sons and daughters” worldwide, young and old alike.

Happy 70th Birthday to you, my loving husband and best friend,

    ~Bonnie

    ...................................................................................

    Dad,

    Happy 70th Birthday!!

You are amazing. For years now I have heard you say, “It’s only forever.”

You are the most unselfish, giving man I know. Your thought has never been for yourself, but you have always had a dream and a vision to bless the entire world; to make sure everyone you meet gets in on the Good News of the grace and love of Jesus.

It has been difficult, I know. You have lost friends that you thought would stand with you forever. You have
faced mountains, and yet every one of them has been removed. You have been tempted to give up (and many have encouraged you to do so), and you just keep right on going. You have been in the den of lions, and they
were not able to eat you. You have faced fear and have conquered it with faith. . .faith in the One who gave you the dream in the first place.

I know you. I know your heart. What a wonderful heart it is!

You have passed on a legacy to your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. . .an excellent legacy that will continue through the generations to my children’s children and grandchildren. We all love Jesus!

You are the best! I thank our Father God everyday for letting me be your daughter. I can trust Him because I can trust you. You are my hero, my example, my friend and my daddy.

    I love you.

    ~Tamara

    ...................................................................................

    Dad,

I know you were raised in a very strict, all work no play household. How nice for us girls that you grew beyond that and made our childhood fun for us. I remember camping in the trailer, taking those many trips all over the United States (and Canada in a motor home!), getting to have horses; and by doing all of this, creating lots of awesome memories. It was a wonderful way to grow up.

I also remember all those hundreds of people you and mom hosted in your home and so that by giving of your lives, you gave all your children a heart of hospitality. Being such a loving, caring, giving father gave us an example to live by. You are the most generous man I know with a heart for your family and the world. I am so proud of you and the way you have lived your life with focus and a dream that has spanned your whole life. I am who I am today because of your input and love.

I couldn’t have asked for a better dad, mentor or example. People always say, “What’s it like to be Dave Duell’s daughter?” How blessed I am to be able to say, “Amazing.”

    ~Juli

    ...................................................................................

    Dad,

First off I just want to say, thanks for being such a great daddy to your third daughter. I have so many good and wonderful memories of my childhood because you were there. You made me laugh so much and made me feel loved and wanted.

My thoughts today go back to some of those memories: The rides in the tractor scoop where you would pretend you were going to dump us in the silage pit and we were all laughing and screaming so loud to stop! But the minute you did stop, we’d beg for more! Or when you would tease the bulls and they would chase you. I thought that was the funniest thing to watch! Or the times when you would have a long day farming or preaching and you would come home to chase us all over the house and tickle us for hours. Your hugs and kisses never quit!

You gave me so many memories where I see the twinkle in your eye and laughter on your face! What a beautiful picture you gave to me of a heavenly father who looks at me like that!! What better gift can you give to a child than a smile that speaks a thousand words all at once of the love you have for her?!

You took such good care of me, Dad, and you still do. Even now, being a woman in my 40s, I still love to feel your arms around me and your kisses on my cheek telling me that you love me and are proud of me.

Now it is my turn to tell you that I love you so very much! Feel my arms around you giving you the strength to keep going, to keep pushing forward, because I am so proud of you! You have given me joy and laughter in this world, and I hope I do the same for you.

Keep dreaming your dreams, keep sharing your love with others, keep hearing what God is saying. I believe in you, Dad, and I will keep smiling and loving you, just like you always do for me.

    Happy Birthday, my dearest dad.

    Love,

    ~Darla

    ...................................................................................

    Dad,

I celebrate you! I honor you and the amazing servant you are to the Lord Jesus Christ! Through the amazing gifts that God has given you, thousands of people have been blessed by your joy and humor and motivated and mobilized to reach the world for God. I love and appreciate you.

    Happy Birthday Dad!

    Love always,

    ~Sarah

    BARNovember 2007

    To our Dear Partners,

Wow! Have we had a great month! We just returned from our first Faith Ministries International Network World Conference in Nakuru, Kenya, knowing we have done what the Holy Spirit wanted us to do. The theme for the Conference was “You’ve Got It! Empowered to Make a Difference.” Here is some of what we taught on that theme:

    YOU’VE GOT IT!

Many people live and die and never really find out their true identity. The strongest revelation in the Bible is who we are in Christ Jesus. The whole Bible is about two men. Your first birth identified you with Adam, the old man. Adam produced the entire human race. The “new man” is Christ, who is called the “last Adam.”

Romans 5:17 "For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."

There is no hope for man’s condition without Jesus Christ. There is no hope for man outside of the blood of Jesus and His death, burial and resurrection. Man is a sinner by nature, and he cannot change himself. Only the blood of Jesus and the power of the gospel can change a person. He has to be born again to lose his identity in Adam and get identified with Christ, the last Adam.

In Christ you establish a whole new identity that changes you, your thinking, your direction and everything about you. Jesus absorbed the condition of the first Adam. He took that into Himself, died with it and made it so that the moment you receive Jesus Christ by faith, His death becomes your death, His burial becomes your burial, His resurrection becomes your resurrection, His righteousness is your righteousness. His ascension is your ascension, His victory is your victory, His seating is your seating, His life is your life and His blessing is your blessing! Everything that God put in Jesus Christ now comes into you. You’ve got it!

    THANK YOU!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this historic Kenya/England trip with your prayer and finances. You, our wonderful partners, always help make it possible for us to go. Many dug deep into their pockets to pay for lodging and food and for the purchase a combination DVD/CD player for each one of our developing country FMIN Partners who attended the conference. Their eyes lit up with joy when they opened the gift bags containing the player, teaching CDs, books, ball caps, jewelry and more.

It takes a great amount of advance planning pull off a conference like this one. My wife, Bonnie, and her team did an awesome job!

    FMIN WORLD CONFERENCE IN KENYA
After traveling for nine hours by plane from London to Nairobi, we got on a bus and then traveled for another four hours on roads that at times seemed impassible. We arrived at our hotel at 3:00 a.m. and the conference started at 8:30 a.m. that morning. Praise God for the Holy Spirit who gives us grace to face anything.

We had a tremendous team of people who went with us from the USA and England, including our granddaughter, Kendyll Merrell, who joined us from France.

We invested mightily in the lives of those present, and now they will take the Good News back to their towns, cities and nations. Many commented that they had never been to such a relational conference. Bonnie and I ministered together along with Dennis and Denise Capra, Bill and Lenah Kilel. People were amazed that we could minister together as couples. They were also blessed that they could talk to and be close to the speakers without bodyguards. They saw how the women were treated with honor.

So many were radically changed. The traditions of men had them bound, and they were set free. One pastor said, “I’m going home to kiss my wife, tell her I love her and ask for forgiveness.”

KENYA PRESIDENTIAL ELECT – A DIVINE APPOINTMENT
The Kenyan nation will be electing a new president next month. God worked it out for me to meet one of the presidential candidates here in Denver, Colorado. I prophesied to him that he would be elected the next president of Kenya, and God led me to give him a beautiful gold watch that someone had given to me. He then gave me his private cell phone number. The people in Kenya were amazed to see the opinion poles change on his behalf after he returned from the USA. I called and talked to him while I was in Kenya and told him that I would come and visit him when he becomes president. He told me that his office is open to me anytime. I know this is a set up for the future.

    EUROPEAN MEN’S CONFERENCE
We had a great Men’s Conference in England with men from Hungary and Scotland joining us. A group of six young men came from London. Their lives were so powerfully changed that the youth pastor invited me to minister at their youth camp in April. It amazes me how the Holy Spirit has connections for us around the world.

    ANDREW WOMMACK’S MINISTERS’ CONFERENCE
We had a week of meetings at Andrew Wommack’s Ministers’ Conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado, right before we left for Kenya. What a joy to minister with the Holy Spirit as we work together to change people’s lives. One of our close friends had bad back and leg problems. I pointed at her from across the room and the Holy Spirit hit her and the people with her, and they fell to the floor. She received a mighty miracle. Another woman testified of healing in her big toe. Pins and screws held it in place, but after prayer, she could move it freely.

    SUPER POWER TOOLS
“We were blessed so much through Dave’s CD series, ‘Super Power Tools.’ How can you not help but get the joy of the Lord back! My husband so much wanted to receive the Holy Spirit and tongues…he had tears in his eyes and looked at me and said ‘Turn it up!’ He was standing in the pool – not only a water baptism, but Holy Spirit Baptism! It truly was special to see him want it. . . I love the way Dave preaches.” A friend in California

    CANCER HEALED
“I wanted to tell you the amazing news about my uncle. If you remember, Dave, my brother and uncle came to Vajta (Hungary), and you prayed for them. My uncle suffered from Leukemia, and he is HEALED! Praise God! He just had his check up and his results were normal. Thank you for your prayers!” Kati, Slovakia

    FMIN GRACE-FULL MARRIAGE WEEKEND
Set aside November 15-17 to invest in your marriage with Dave and Bonnie, Dennis and Denise Capra, Robert and Jill Scheck and Clifton and Geri Coulter at the beautiful Overland Park, Kansas Marriott Hotel. Reserve your space today by phoning FM World Outreach Center at 816.965.7141.

    BAROctober 2007

    To our Dear Partners,

What a privilege it is to preach the Good News! Recently, I have been preaching on the topic of being God’s oracle or interpreter for our generation. I want to share with you some of the important points.

1 Peter 4:11  “If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

The Greek word logion means utterance of God, and it is translated four times in the New Testament as the word “oracles.” Any communication of God to man is considered to be an oracle.

God uses many ways to communicate with man. It could come in a face-to-face encounter, as it did with Abraham, or an audible voice, as it did with Moses in the burning bush. It could come in a dream, as it did with Jacob, who saw a ladder reaching from earth to heaven, or a vision, as it did with Ezekiel, who saw an awesome wheel in a wheel.

Gideon had many signs letting him know it was God speaking to him, or like Noah who saw the first rainbow. What about Mary who had an angel appear to her and gave her the important words that changed history or the prophesy that Elisha gave to Naaman that got him healed.

The greatest oracles ever given are the Old and New Testament, as every word, every line and every verse is a logion, an utterance of God. Jesus is the eternal logos, the Word, but when He speaks, what He says is a logion, an utterance of God which is an oracle.

In our every day language the word oracle can also mean the channel through which the message or divine communication comes. The messenger can be called an oracle of God.

Peter exhorted Christians to speak “as the oracles of God”—channels of the expressed thoughts and feelings of the Most High God. A true oracle will not add nor take away anything from the inspired message. He will not go beyond the Word of the Lord to say more or less. A true oracle is dead to his own will. He is alive only to the expressed will of God, the rhema, which is the living Word for that moment.

Jesus contained all of the written Word, but He was filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and His words became spirit and life. He is the Living Word. We as believers are called to walk in His footsteps, walking in sensitivity to the will of the Spirit. So we become His oracles, channels of the living Word.

Our consuming desire is to come as close as we can now to a full manifestation of our inheritance-rights. We refuse to speak words poisoned with unbelief, words filled with a spirit of defeat. We speak words of success and victory. We can be very bold in speaking God’s Word just as authoritatively as Jesus did when He was here on earth. We know God backs up His Word to perform it.

    We love and appreciate you,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

    Our Newest Grandchild
We promised you a photo of our newest grandchild, Ryder Noble Lehmann, born to our youngest daughter, Sarah, and her husband Eric.

We thought you'd also like to see our great-grandson, Ty Mitchell, son of our granddaughter in Kansas City, Leah Moyer. After a very premature birth, he is doing so well.

FMIN US Men's Conference the Best Ever!
Incredible, inspiring, awesome-all adjectives heard after the men came down the mountain from the Men's Conference. Lives totally changed!

    Trip to Kenya and England
Please be praying with us for this month. We will be traveling to Kenya, East Africa, where we will be holding our World Conference for Faith Ministries International Network. What a privilege to be able to go and be an encouragement to our African Partners. Gwen Shields, FMIN Partner in Missouri, said God showed her the team going will have a "hurricane force affect on Africa."

We will then go to England to hold our European Men's Conference. Bonnie will minister in Grimsby at a day for Women of Influence; Dave ministers Sunday night at Victory Church in Grimsby. Your gifts of love and prayers make all of this possible for us.

Open Door to the Dominican Republic
Through a miracle of God, a door opened up for me to minister in the Dominican Republic. I had two amazing days ministering in two churches. I met a wonderful pastor who has invited us to come back in February for leadership meetings with many churches. In one church we had over 400 people filled with the Holy Spirit.

The man who organized the meetings wrote, "It was really good to get to know you and your ministry. Now I know a little more about what God can do through men of faith. . . I hope this is just the beginning of a long relationship between our churches here in the DR and your ministry."

Christmas in September in Kansas City, Missouri
We have just returned from our sister church in Kansas City, Missouri. We were ministering with our great friends, Dennis and Denise Capra, pastors of Faith Ministries World Outreach Center, who are also on the leadership team of Faith Ministries International Network. We had a great weekend with many filled with the Holy Spirit and healed.

One young man, glowing with the Holy Ghost, exclaimed, "This is like Christmas in September. I've received so many gifts!"

Another man enthused, "Where'd you come from? I've never been so inspired in my life!"

    BARSeptember 2007

    Hello!

What a joy to tell you about our recent trip to Europe. Without you, this trip would not have been possible. When you go to Europe, the love offerings are very small, so thank you to those who specifically gave to this trip.

We finished our US youth camp with everyone praising God and rejoicing with his or her new friends. One young man said that for seven years he did not have any joy or hope and was mixed up with drugs. He was totally set free and with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes, he gave his testimony. The Good News Message and the awesome power of the Holy Spirit changed many young people.

Two days later we traveled to the Midlands of England and had a great camp at a wonderful facility. There were young people who joined us from England, Hungary, France, Scotland, Ireland and the US. On Wednesday night I did a mime and took on the character of Jesus. I prophesied over many of them, and then asked them to come to the front if they wanted to go change the nations. The Holy Spirit blew them all down. Many were crying as God spoke personally to them. God only knows what happened in those few minutes.

Our ten-member team of young people from our church did an awesome job leading this camp. This team raised their own money for travel and camp. They trained the campers in music, drama, dance, and industrial rhythm. I taught them in a spiritual gifts workshop and in the evenings. At the end of camp, people had a hard time leaving each other. Again, we saw these young lives changed forever. We are training leaders that are changing the world, as these camps give them the opportunity to express the gifts and talents that God has given to them.

We then met with our Network partners from Europe in an old abbey, built in 1691. We have such wonderful Partners working with us to reach the world and you, our DDM Partners, would love every one of them. Life is truly made up of relationships.

We recently saw the new movie "Evan Almighty" about a modern-day Noah building an ark, and God spoke to us in such an awesome way. "You have no idea how big of an ark you all have built. People from every nation will run on that ark and be saved." I know He was talking about all of us working together to expand His Kingdom. We left the movie crying.

After England, we traveled to Hungary for a weeklong conference at a camp with about 275 people in attendance. Again, the meetings were powerful.

One night alone in a hotel in Austria with a great comfortable bed felt so wonderful after three weeks of camp beds!

We then flew to Marseille, France to be with our friends Chris and Terri Wright, who pastor a church there. Chris has battled cancer for the last few years, and it is now completely gone! Agree with us that the Shingles that have been tormenting him will be completely gone. Our granddaughter, Kendyll Merrell, is spending six months with them to learn French and to help them in their church.

We flew back to Vienna to be with some of our close friends, Oliver and Susan Ali. They organized a meeting in a downtown Vienna Catholic Church. A Gospel choir came and sang for us. This was a great closing service for our European Adventure. We had spoken 22 times in three weeks. We praise God for these open doors that He gave to us.

After a week of catching up on things in the office, we flew to Tampa, Florida to be with our youngest daughter, Sarah, and her family and to meet our new grandson, Ryder Noble Lehmann, born August 9. We'll have photos next month!

    BARAugust 2007

    To our Wonderful Partners,

What an awesome time we had at the Navajo Nation! The last two nights of the Camp meeting over 800 people crowded into the big blue tent in Ganado, Arizona. Our team of fifteen was busy every night praying for peoples' needs.

Sammie Begay, the pastor of Ganado Glory Temple, has done an awesome job teaching the people the Good News. They have great love for one another, hugging each other as one big family.

The spirit of giving is on the people. Sammie gave away his truck one night. He was then given two horses, which he promptly gave to two other men. One of the men gave the horse he had just received to another. Wonderful!

The people served us as though we were kings. They fixed a sit-down steak dinner with all the trimmings for 250 people. They washed our feet and honored us. One of the men, with tears in his eyes, said that I was as a "Moses" who took them out of bondage and led them into freedom.

There are now twenty-six families that get together every Saturday and bring one hundred dollars each to give to the poor. Since last Thanksgiving they have given away over $100,000-and this is above their tithe. Many miracles follow this amazing giving.

This is our eleventh year to go to the Navajo Camp Meeting to minister. Someone in the Navajo President's office told our team that Faith Ministries has helped the Nation more than any other group that has ever come there. Praise God! You are in on all of this! Thank you for your faithful giving.

Here are some nuggets from my new CD series Super Power Tools.

    • Every believer should quickly step into victory at the moment he makes Jesus Christ the Lord of his life. All authority in heaven and on earth has been conferred on Jesus, and He invites us to share that authority as a joint heir with Him.
    • "Winners never quit and quitters never win." Satan's goal is to get you to abandon your position in life by using fear, intimidation, and bluff or outright thievery. If he can, he will entice you down from your heavenly position to a level of unbelief and doubt where he can attack you.
    • The main reason Christians give up is because they don't know what the Word says about them. The Word should never be debated, but believed. The weakest member in the Body of Christ is greater than our defeated enemy and has authority over him.
    • In the Old Covenant, we know that "it was all up to me." God's part was to bless His people, but only if they did their part by obeying all of His laws. If they didn't do their part, not only would they not be blessed, the curse would come on them.
    • So you can see that most of the time they lived under the curse, because they could not keep all of God's laws. No one was declared righteous by keeping the law. Under the New Covenant, man has no part to play except to believe and receive. God made a Covenant with Himself that can never be broken.
    • Jesus is representing you and me at the Father's right hand. So how much we can receive from God depends upon our Representative. Jesus is a perfect man, so in Him we are qualified to receive all of the blessings of God. And God has given us the faith to believe, being convinced by the Holy Spirit and God's Word that we are qualified to receive all of our blessings that have been freely given to us by Christ Jesus.

NEWS FLASH! I'm in the middle of the FMIN US Youth Camp. So far, nine have been saved, thirty-three baptized in the Holy Spirit, and there are 170+ campers praising God with all their might!!

Pray for us as we have the great privilege of ministering in Europe to scores of people in England, Hungary, France and Austria!

    Love,
    Dave and Bonnie Duell

    To Our Wonderful Partners

We had a great spring here in Colorado. Many wonderful rains have made our entire area so green and beautiful.

Our summer schedule is very busy with two FMIN youth camps, one here in the mountains of Colorado, and then on to England for our European Youth Camp. From there we fly to Hungary for a week with three church groups who are meeting together at a camp. After that, we are off to France to minister with Chris and Terri Wright in Marseilles and then on to Vienna, Austria.

Recently, we were able to spend three days with three of our daughters and their children for a family camp-over here in our home. We bought large tent and some of the grandchildren slept outside. We took a train to downtown Denver, spent a day at a lake and rented paddleboats, had a cookout and just enjoyed being together.

How wonderful to be able to talk together with the grandchildren about important topics as what to do when they have bad dreams, people of faith in the Bible and other things. Bonnie had a vegetable cutting accident on a slicer and cut open her thumb quite badly. The grandchildren laid hands on her and prayed in English and in tongues. She never experienced any pain, and the thumb is healing up well.

I had a great time ministering in Ganado, Arizona to the Navajo Nation at Sammie Begay's tent Camp Meeting. We have seen such a change in the people there. Sammie pastors an outstanding church and does much evangelism in his area. Fifteen people from our local church went with me, and we ministered in a big blue and white tent. The music was powerful. Many lives were changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our radio program featured the end of one of our church services where I was leading people to receive the baptism. Here are portions of a letter from an inmate in a prison who listens to the program: "I was listening to you on Memorial Day and you led me into the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I now speak in tongues. God is moving in this place in a mighty and powerful way. I have personally laid hands on the sick and seen them recover. We had one man who was diabetic and had a gout infection in his foot. It wouldn't stop bleeding. He was set to go from here to the hospital. They were going to amputate his foot and bring him back. I prayed from him and God healed him! He still has his foot. Glory to God! Thank you Jesus for Dave Duell."

I would love to send you my new four-CD series, "Super Power Tools," a $28 value, as a gift for any amount given to help us with our European Trip. You are sowing into your own future.

Your generous giving helps us continue to spread the news of God's love and grace around the world.

    A world of thanks,

    To Our Wonderful Partners

    Instruments of Dominion Teaching

Recently, I have been teaching about our Instruments of Dominion and would like to share a few nuggets from the teaching.

First of all, we must be born-again. Also, we need the same power that Jesus worked with here on this earth. We must be baptized in the Holy Spirit. That is one of the last things Jesus told His followers right before He went to heaven in Acts 1:8. I know this is true because that is what happened to me.

God gives us His Word. Mark 4:24 in the Amplified version says, "And Jesus said to them. Be careful what you are hearing, the measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you, and more besides will be given to you who hear." You can see how important it is to hear and know truth.

To know the truth speaks of seeing what is already ours through Jesus death and resurrection. It is about Jesus' work on the cross, and who we are due to His finished work. Paul tells us that we are to know "all the things we are freely given by God: (I Corinthians 2:12). "Truth" refers to the truth of the gospel and is God focused.

"If it be Thy will" is not a prayer of faith, but a prayer of unbelief. We have to know that anything God has promised in His word IS His will. To say, "If it be thy will" is like saying, "I know what you have made it very clear in your Word that it is your will, BUT do you really mean it?"

Let's live gospel-flooded lives focused on God: on "Christ and Him crucified," (Galatians 2:20), knowing the reality of His presence in us at all times.

    Family Reports

We celebrate family birthdays every couple of months. In a family our size, we have to combine birthday celebrations. Recently, we celebrated the birthdays of three of our beautiful granddaughters. Katelyn (Katie) Bristol turned 16, Gentry Merrell, 20, and Emilee Bristol is now 10. Our hearts are sometimes overwhelmed with the blessing our family is to us.

Now we are celebrating the high school graduation of two of our grandchildren: Kendyll Merrell and Brandon Perry. How proud we are of them!

Kendyll received top honors in French, won the revered Virtuous Woman award and is one of eight Valedictorians of her class. She plans to spend 6-8 months in Marseilles, France with our dear friends, Chris and Terri Wright, studying French and helping them in their church.

Brandon received top honors in Physics and Calculus, all the while fighting to conquer cancer for the past three and one half years. He had his final cancer treatments this past week. Praise God he is cancer free and can now experience and walk in total health and life! He will be attending Baylor University in Texas.

    Miracles in Chico, Texas

I had a great time with Don and Kay McMaster, pastors of New Beginnings in Chico, Texas. Every time I minister there, I see some of the most awesome miracles.

Three years ago, a young lady from the Church of Christ came to the meetings. She came up for prayer because she had an operation for cancer of the uterus. The scar tissue was so bad that they were going to scrape her uterus so that when she got married she would be able to have children. She was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit that night, and when I prayed for her she just laid on the floor, her entire body bouncing.

The next day she went to the doctor for a pre-operation exam, and he was shocked because she was perfect inside. She later married the son of a pastor friend of mine, and the next year had a beautiful baby boy. She is pregnant again. Praise God!

One of my close friends brought their Grandpa and Grandma. They were Baptist and really did not know what was going to happen in the meetings. They both needed healing, and Grandpa was first to be prayed for. His back and wrist were healed, and he left his walking cane at his seat and walked with me. I believe he was also healed of diabetes. Grandma was next and was touched by God in a great way. Both of them were Baptized in the Holy Spirit and she began yelling "I knew it was real, I knew it was real, but I was told that this never happens!"

A Good Report from Northern Ireland

"I just wanted to say that I'm glad you went into the ministry. I was on the verge of just going mad, popping a few pills and ending it all. Then I heard music that I had once loved, but had forgotten. That music was your teaching Throw Yourself a Party. Thank you, Jesus, for Dave Duell! You are a kind dad! I really enjoy listening to your teachings on the Internet. A place of peace surrounds my soul. It is really reassuring to know that I'm accepted. That takes all the strain and hard work away."

    BARMay 2007

To Our Wonderful Friends and Partners,

You are such a major blessing to us, and we thank you for your love, support and prayers.

John 8:32 says, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." It is very important for you to know the truth of the Word of God and the authority you possess as a believer in Jesus Christ. Too often, as children of God, we allow satan to bluff and coerce us into submission or defeat. He can only use against us what WE give to him.

    So what is the problem?

    (1) LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Like the bumper sticker I saw, Ignorance is expensive. What you don't know, the devil uses to try to get you in that area
    .
    (2) UNBELIEF
Are you still trying to do everything on your own ability? If we have a problem, it is between our ears. We have been baptized in religion, false beliefs, and man's ideas. We try to get God to do what He has already done. Grace is one of those big issues in our lives. It is hard for us to see ourselves perfect in God's eyes. We need to mediate on Romans 5 over and over to hit unbelief in the head.

    (3) SIN
What we believe about sin can be a problem. Jesus has taken care of the sin problem. Calvary was the greatest victory this earth has ever experienced. Jesus defeated the devil in every area of life and gave back to us the dominion of this earth. He made it possible for God to put His Spirit back into us. He has enough confidence in us to take His place here on earth. Now it is time to take a hold of that dominion and act like we should.

Legally, Calvary was satan's complete destruction. But every legal transaction has to be enforced. Calvary has to be enforced. We as believers are enforcers, not beggars, enforcing what Jesus has done for us at Calvary. When we pray for people, we are actually wrenching satan's claws from God's property. We are not asking God to do it, because it is already done, but we are using the authority that has been given to us.
FMIN South African Youth Camp a Success!

Our Faith Ministries International Network Youth Camp in Worchester, South Africa was a wonderful success! Our leadership team of young people did a great job. Among our team was my daughter, Juli and her husband, Geary (our Network youth leader), three of our grandchildren, a young man from Northern Ireland and three youth from England. These youth are already major leaders at their young ages.

Fourteen were saved and over half of the camp of young people was filled with the Holy Spirit the very first night. The camp was off and running with great love and unity between the kids. Hansen, the youth leader from Worchester, just sat on the floor and cried. His prayers of seven years were being answered right in front of his eyes. I prophesied over many of the youth, and Hansen was overwhelmed at the accuracy of the words given through the Holy Spirit. When the camp was over, there were many tears as no one wanted to leave each other. Generations were affected for eternity as many shared with me that their lives were changed forever.

    Ministry in Johannesburg

After Youth Camp, I was privileged to go and preach for Arthur Mientjes at his wonderful church in Johannesburg. I ministered twice and many awesome miracles took place. God is so good!!

    FMIN Women's Conference

Bonnie led a wonderful FMIN Women's Conference in Estes Park, Colorado. Around 175 women came and there were life-changing praise reports. Women came from Kenya, Northern Ireland, Costa Rica, England, Portugal, Brazil, Canada and the USA. Relationships were established forever.

    Thank you for your support,

    BARApril 2007

    To our Wonderful Partners,

We just returned from a historic trip to Brazil. It is just about impossible to write about the awesome time we had with the great team of sixteen people. I know by the Spirit that this was the beginning, the laying of the foundation, for all of us to be involved in what God is doing in that nation. We felt the same feelings I felt when we went to England for the first time. I told Bonnie then that we would be coming back to England many times and we have been there forty-six times.

We are connected with a Brazilian couple, Ton and Karin, who have given their lives for their country. They are well connected and well known in Brazil and are now partners in our Network. We believe that they will be our connection for all of South America as we are of the same spirit, vision and zeal.

Ton and Karin did a superb job setting up everything for us. We went to Jo~ao Pessoa, a beachside city on the northeast corner of Brazil. We taught for three days Leadership That Builds People. The leaders learned so much about running their churches and about the grace message.

We also had meetings in a large church each night and saw so many people saved and filled with the Spirit and healed that we lost count. Many had never seen anything like what we did as a team . . . ministering for hours after the meetings were over. It takes the grace of God to do this work. We would get to bed very late and rise very early to start again.

We are planning to have two youth camps in Brazil next January. The contacts were made, and we are now preparing for these two exciting camps. Most of the people who were saved in the meetings were young people.

The following is one of the many stories that happened to us in the city of Jo~ao Pessoa. We were invited to see a retired judge who had cancer and some other problems. His family was present in his home to see what God would do for their father. We had a miracle service for the family, and God healed every one of them. We then prayed for the judge, and the power of God went into him in such a powerful way that he felt it. I asked him if he would like to receive Jesus and he quickly said, "Yes!" The family members were all crying and praising God. I told him that when he got to heaven and stood before the Judge of the Universe, he would hear him say "Not guilty!" Wow, what a night.

We then traveled four hours south to Curitiba, a very clean city of two million people. We stayed at a beautiful YMAM base which is led by Ton and Karin. This great facility was built and given to YWAM by a man from the United States. We repeated the same conference we did the previous week, with many pastors and young people. They had never seen or experienced God in this way.

We then had meetings each night at a church filled with young people. One night we had seven hundred people in attendance. Hundreds of people received Jesus and were filled with the Holy Spirit. It was an awesome experience. The thirty-one year-old Pastor became my adopted spiritual son. He had a surfboard for a pulpit, and the music was awesome.

What a privilege to preach the Gospel of the Good News. So many people have not heard it, and when they do hear, they are changed forever.

We want to thank you for helping us go the nations. You have supported us over these many years and we are extremely grateful.

I am now preparing to go to South Africa with our youth team to hold the first FMIN South African youth camp. I know that we are going to have an awesome time.

    BARMarch 2007

To our wonderful Partners and Friends,

I have been teaching on Financial Freedom recently, and I have made a four-CD series on this subject. Here are some of the nuggets from the teaching.

The Body of Christ lives way below what God accomplished for us in Jesus' death and resurrection. Why? Because of lack of knowledge. When Jesus died and rose from the dead, every thing changed for us as believers. He covered every aspect of life-salvation, healing and prosperity. Every war has been won. It has been our lack of knowledge that has kept us from operating fully in what He has accomplished for us.

"What must I do today to get the Father to meet my needs?" This thought never went through the mind of Jesus. He believed that He was His Father's Son, and heir of all that the Father had! The problem with us is that we still consider ourselves to be "outsiders" seeking to obtain the blessings of God based on our performance.

Think about this. There is a vast difference in the thinking of an employee of a rich man compared to the son of a rich man. The employee's relationship, financially, with the rich man is based on his performance. The son's relationship, financially, with the rich man is based on his "inheritance." The employee is "paid wages" according to his labor. The son receives freely from his inheritance because the rich man IS his Father!

By grace alone, through the finished work of Jesus Christ, the Father has adopted us into His family. He has made us "joint-heirs with Jesus Christ." Please read Galatians 4:1-9 and read this story about what I have just said.

Inheritance is not attached to your earthly family name. How much do you think Adam thought about making a living before he fell in the garden? Everything was provided for him. All five senses were fulfilled to the fullest. When Adam and Eve fell, they lost the world, lost their provision, lost their vision, and lost their assignment from God. The feeling of abundance and life was gone from them. Life turned into "take care of me."

The Body of Christ is sick. We are still preaching law-what we have to do to satisfy God-and mixing it with grace. With both mixed together, there is no power. We are still focusing on us.

God gave the New Covenant, and Jesus made it possible to have peace with God, and then everything else the Kingdom has belongs to us. That's our inheritance. We have it legally, but we have to step into it. You have been given the whole estate. Quit living like a slave in this earth-cursed system and start living like the son you really are!

    Great Reports of Changed Lives

"You spoke about somebody having stomach trouble and a hard time with a lot of different foods, I stood up and said that was me. Since that time I believe God totally manifested in me and I feel so much better. God is so good. We bought some of your CDs, and I like to listen to them at night when I go to bed, but sometimes my husband and I get to laughing so hard, I have to turn you off because I get a stomachache from laughing and can't sleep."
Doug and Janna, Pastors from WY

The following is from a man whom I ministered to at a Baptist church in the Rocky Mountains. Many were filled with the Holy Spirit that morning.

"Well, I put off writing you for sometime now just to make sure I knew what I was talking about. I have been telling people I am healed. So I figured I better let the man know who brought the 'healing hand of God down on me.' Praise God!! I am a busted up cowboy turned real estate broker. I had a serious back problem. I did not tell you about it. You looked at me and told me my problem. My back has been broken in five places on three different occasions. I have encountered five operations from 1977 to 1982. In 1983, I spent ninety-three days in the Houston Medical Center for treatment. First they got me off the dope, and they taught me how to live with the pain. I had chronic pain up until I met you a year ago. The past ten years I have been buying chiropractor treatments in bulk, 20-25 at a time, just so I could afford to keep walking.

After my encounter with you and the Holy Spirit, it is a different world. No pain killers, no laying on a heat pad every night, no sitting up at night not being able to sleep due to pain; being able to walk normally again, pain free, no chiropractor visits and No Pain... Praise God!! When the Holy Spirit came down on me, it was
amazing. The minute I stood up out of my chair I knew something was different. It was a good different. You prayed for my wife and she was heading for knee replacement on one and maybe both knees. So far, no replacements! Glory to God."

    Clay in Colorado

I have also had a great time at Andrew Wommack's school, Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The students love the demonstration of the Holy Spirit. There were many reported miracles. One young lady came up to me after the meetings and was crying. Her jaw did not match up and she had a cross bite. Not anymore! Her jaw is now perfect!

Rambo, a beautiful horse with cataracts on his eyes, was brought to our church for prayer. We saw his eyes clear up as he began to look around. The owner and his wonderful son came to our church, and were both filled with the Holy Spirit. Awesome!

Greetings to you, our dear Partners and Friends!

Exciting Times in the Navajo Nation
Recently, I was the speaker for the annual Navajo Music Celebration in Gallup, New Mexico, organized by my good friend Sammie Begay. There were thirty-five musical groups that performed. I was told this was the best year they have ever had. Over sixty-five people got saved and over one hundred received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I went all over the auditorium praying for people to be healed. A great time!

    Infertile Navajo Couple Receives Miracle
Here are some excerpts from a wonderful story of a Navajo couple that could not have children. “We were married in 1989. We wanted to have children right away but when I went to the doctor to find out what was wrong with me, he told me that my uterus was misshaped. Even if I got pregnant, my uterus would not be able to hold a baby. . . . We refused to listen to the negative words from the doctors and other people. . . . We started buying baby clothes, toys, blankets and other baby items. I started sewing and crocheting baby quilts by faith.
“We even purchased a big four-bedroom home. . . . In 1996, the second visit of Dave Duell to our Revival Meeting, Dave said, ‘There is a person under this tent who is praying for a baby.’ We went out for prayer believing with all of our hearts. In October of 2001, the wonderful news was given to us. “Readda, you are pregnant! Not with one baby, but twin babies!” We cried tears of joy and thanked the Lord for our babies.

“On April 14, 2002 our healthy miracle babies were born. Ernest Roy and Faith Rainie joined us. They have definitely filled our empty rooms with their big laughter and smiles.”

    What Gives Me a Buzz
I also preached two times in Farmington, New Mexico, where Tony and Diana Pacheco have done a great job building Living Word Church. We saw many miracles take place. I was given two watches. I gave away my 129th watch the night before. Since 1980, I have been in the business of giving and receiving watches. So now God has given me 131 watches. Each time I receive another watch, it gives me a big buzz.

    Valentine’s Gift Suggestion
Bonnie and her team are busy planning the FM International Network Women’s Conference to be held April 20-22 in Estes Park, Colorado. It would be great if many of you would join her at this wonderful event. Men, give this to your wife as a Valentine’s gift. It is unlike any other conference. The fellowship and relationships that are developed are forever. You will love it, so please come.

Here is what God has told me for 2007
This year will be one of the greatest years we have ever had on earth to increase the kingdom. Everything that has happened to us in the past is focusing on this year. Foundations have been laid to bring in the greatest harvest of souls that we have ever seen. Buildings will be bought, and people will be moving to fulfill their dreams and visions. God’s provision will be released to us in unprecedented ways.

As you grow in confidence and assurance in the Holy Spirit, signs and wonders will increase in you, and you shall go forth in great power revealing the power and the glory of God. What has kept you back in the past is gone. Step into what I am saying to you. You are equipped to carry the message of the kingdom. You have My life moving in you. Do not be afraid, but move forward boldly, saying what I tell you to say. Preach my Word in faith, believing what it says, and so shall it be done.

    We Need Your Help!
We have just received our shipment of our new printing of our book,, “Knowing God.” We now need $8,000 to build a website for Dave Duell Ministries. Can you help us?

Happy New Year! Wow, here we go again. We thank God for His health, strength, provision and vision to enter into this New Year. We are excited about our schedule for the year for reaching the world with the Good News. Because of the open doors God has given us, the world is also open to you!

You might like to go with us to Brazil in March to hold conferences in two cities with our Faith Ministries International Network (FMIN). An awesome opportunity! Then in April we have tentative plans to go back to South Africa for our first FMIN Youth Camp there, plus meetings in some churches.

Bonnie invites you to the FMIN Women's Conference in Estes Park, Colorado, April 20-22, Treasures Unlimited. Please make plans to come and be with women from around the world. They have such a great time together! In October we will be having our FMIN World Conference in Kenya. You are invited to come with us and experience what happens in another country. Please let us know if you are interested.

Keep checking our travel schedule on www.faithministries.ws. Also, our new website is being designed at www.daveduell.com. This is a great investment opportunity too, if you would like to invest in our new website. We are so blessed to have Jeff Bristol, our son-in-law, and his team, doing such a tremendous job on our different websites.

Please look at our new layout for www.fmin.org. You will enjoy seeing how easy it is to move around the site and see what is going on, plus you can order product directly from our Online Store. Also, you can order books and product through Amazon.com by clicking on any book. You will be in Amazon.com which will give a rebate from your purchases to FMIN..

Many people are enjoying our book, "How to Flow in the Supernatural." This book encourages you to begin to flow in the gifts God has given to you. We also are about to receive the new printing of our book, "Knowing God." Many have sent in testimonies of how this book has encouraged them in their walk with God. We also need to reprint our book, "Throw Yourself a Party," and we'll need approximately $3,000 for this project. Praise God for these opportunities to believe in His goodness.

We are so blessed to have such a great family. We love getting together with them during the Christmas holidays. Our annual tradition is to take them all the family members who live in Colorado to an Embassy Suites hotel here in Denver as our Christmas gift to them. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren love being with each other for two nights, playing games, swimming, eating, riding the elevators, etc.

I had a great time last month with our wonderful friends, Tommy and Kim Morgan, at the church they pastor, Potter's Wheel Ministries, in Dallas, Texas. People were born again, filled with the Holy Spirit and many were healed.

A man came that had a torn-up knee in a brace. When the power of God hit him, his face lit up and he began to jump. He reached down and took off his brace and went running up to the front of the church, leaping and praising God. He ended up on his face, crying.

One of my spiritual sons, Don, wrote this, "A good friend of mine was there Sunday morning with his family . . . He had some broken ribs, you zapped him, and when he got up, he could breath without any pain! I talked to his Dad Monday night who said that his son's ribs were healed and he had no pain. The more I am around you, Dad, the more I see Jesus. Thank you for being a part of my life! You will never know the impact you have had on my life and my family!!!! Some day I'm going to write a book about my time with Daddy Dave. You have taught me what real love really is."

A dear friend, Susie, wrote the following to us: "Happy Anniversary to Me!"

Last month was the two-year anniversary of when God allowed our paths to cross. At that time, I felt very blessed to have met such wonderful, loving people, but truthfully, I had no idea what impact meeting you would have on my life and future. Your ministry has such an impact on so many people, so I am sure that my "story" is only one of many! It is hard to put into words, exactly what God had done in my heart as a result of your ministry . . . the closest thing would be to compare it to a medical procedure, like a heart transplant. However, that doesn't really describe it accurately, because the majority of the changes have taken place in my mind, my thinking.

Your ministry and encouragement has taught and is teaching me to not put so much value on what I think of myself and what I think others think about me, and focus on what God thinks about me. I have learned that what God thinks about me is measurable and when I compare it to the invalid negative things I believed about myself, the variance is huge! Really grasping the thought of how much God loves me and how precious I am to Him, has changed my life completely! That knowledge has made even simple songs like "Jesus Loves Me" so precious to me.

I really can't put into words what I feel in my heart, other than to say thank you for all the sacrifices that you and your family have made over the years, to be in ministry, touching people just like me. The last two years, my daily life has been so full and blessed beyond anything I could have ever imagined it could be. Who knew it was as simple as believing what God thinks about me!

Your partnership with us makes all these miracle stories possible! Our personal income comes from Dave Duell Ministries and not from our church. We believe for many more partners this year so we can fulfill our vision in a greater way. Thank you for joining us!

    In God's love,

    BARDecember 2006

    Hello

Greetings in Jesus Mighty Name! Thank you for your support in helping us take the Good News to the Nations. Our Christmas gift to you is the enclosed CD, Good News, an inspirational, joyous message I preached recently at the Andrew Wommack's Ministers' Conference. You will be refreshed and encouraged as you listen.

The Christmas Season is here again when the entire world celebrates the birth of our Savior. Jesus was sent down here to earth to put a face on God and to make it possible for God to put his Spirit into us. Wow, what a plan.

Jesus went about doing good here on earth. By His actions we can see what God's nature is like. He was not condemning His creation but giving us a hope and a future whereby we could experience peace and joy with our Creator. In John 14:9-11 Jesus was answering a question from Philip. "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, so how can you say, `Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves."

The Holy Spirit told me years ago, "The more you study Jesus' life and how He lived here on earth, the more you learn about yourself." Jesus was our prototype on how to live our lives. One of the major traits of Jesus was that He was full of joy. He is not like the picture religion paints. I have a picture of a smiling Jesus in my office. Hebrews 1:9 says that God anointed Jesus " . . . with the oil of gladness more than Your companions."

It is amazing to me that God has enough faith in us to take His place here on earth. Jesus left us to complete His work here, and we are to do it just like He did when He was here. Most churches do a good job telling people how Jesus did it but have no idea that they are to do the very same things that Jesus did.

In the next verse in John 14:12, Jesus said, "Most Assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." Praise God for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of God's Word that we can do the same things Jesus did here on earth.

I lived for 30 years before I found out about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Over the years, the Holy Spirit has taught me about healing, deliverance, His gifts and especially about who we now are in Jesus. As I minister I think about how Jesus would minister to that person, and then I do it. What a thrill to put a face on Jesus as I minister and live life.

Our South African friends gave me the greatest introduction, "This is the man who put a face on God for us and has shown us a God we never knew." What a privilege to represent Jesus in the way that we know Him. We're hearing great reports from our time in South Africa: "Thank you for the awesome blessing you were to me and my family. RICH DEPOSITS IN SOUTH AFRICA!

We have just returned from an amazing trip to South Africa. The Holy Spirit has a way of setting up meetings so wonderful that we are having a very difficult time explaining in words what we experienced. He used our relationships with our Network Partners in Norwich, England to lead us to South Africa.

Our Partners, who are dentists, came together in Norwich from South Africa, led by God. They heard the "Good News Gospel" and were born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit. They then started a home church and were so excited about what they had learned that they invited us to go with them to their homeland of South Africa to tell all of their friends and relatives. Don Francisco, world class musician, traveled with us. Don has made a major impact in South Africa, and many people came to the meetings because of knowing his music ministry.

The results were awesome. Many people were saved, healed and delivered. In one meeting alone over 100 people came forward to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. People gladly received what we had to say about Faith Righteousness. It was such a privilege to see family members receive Jesus and experience the joy of the Holy Spirit.

One dentist's father exclaimed, "All of our family has passed through your hands." His mother said, "I can go home to heaven now knowing all of my family knows Jesus."

We also accomplished our mission of finding a camp facility for our first FMIN Youth Camp in South Africa next year. Praise God!

We were treated like royalty with all of our expenses paid. Thank you to our wonderful dentist friends and their families for all of the excellent work they did in arranging these historical meetings in their homeland. The doors are open wide for us to return and continue what God has planned for South Africa.

We want to share some exciting news with you concerning our family. Our daughter Juli was recently married to our youth pastor and friend of thirteen years, Geary Perry. We rejoice with them in the joy of their relationship together.

We also were so blessed to have a new great-granddaughter, born on our 48th wedding anniversary, October 4, Addison Jo, given to us by Zach and Ashleigh Currier, daughter and son of Juli. She is so beautiful and peaceful. Only God can create such a jewel.

I had the joy of speaking at Faith Ministries World Outreach Center in Kansas City, Missouri, pastored by Dennis and Denise Capra. This congregation is like family to us, and we are always thrilled to be with them. Then we had an exciting week of ministering at the Andrew Wommack Ministers' Conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado—always a fun, rewarding week, imparting into the lives of ministry leaders. I also dedicated a new church building in Fairplay, Colorado for Freedom Faith Fellowship, Grady and Jody Miller, pastors. Grady and Jody moved up to Fairplay to retire; but God had different plans for them.

Our radio program here in Denver and the surrounding area is making a difference. We have many new people who have come to our church for more of what they hear on the radio. Don't forget to listen to our services posted on a weekly basis on our website.

It is such a joy for us to have you as our friends and partners! Thank you for your help in expanding this Good News around the world. You make it possible.

It's time to think of Christmas shopping! We are sending you our product catalog so you can choose a book or CD set to give to the people on your list. We believe their lives will be changed forever. Check out our exciting new four-CD series, "Revealing God's Glory."

    Blessings,

    Dave and Bonnie

Dear Partner of Dave Duell Ministries,

September was such an exciting month! We had two great Faith Ministries International Men's Conferences—in the United States and England. The conference here in Colorado had 180 men in attendance from fourteen states and three nations. The Good News Message changed the lives of so many of the men. The fellowship and relationships brought the men together in great love. The joy in seeing grown men hug one another in brother-to-brother love was incredible. We are being joined together to change the world.

In England I first ministered in Norwich, a city located about four hours north of London. The FMI Network has brought us together with such awesome people. I had meetings with a group of dentists from South Africa who moved to this city and then became friends. They heard the message of God's grace and peace, and it changed their lives forever.

We met in a church building that was packed out. Half of the people were young high school students. The young people who were at our Youth Camp in England in August had their lives so radically changed that they invited all of their friends. Around 40 young people were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Plus, an entire family from Yugoslavia was also born again. People were being healed by the power of God with much laughter and tears. Wow! We are going to South Africa next month with these dentists for meetings in their hometowns. We will also be looking for a place in South Africa to have a youth camp next year.

The FMIN European Men's Conference saw over 90 men present from England, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, France, Hungary, Iceland and Germany. A Catholic priest was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Fourteen dentists were in attendance and four were filled with the Holy Spirit. Here are some of the comments that came to me:

    • "I have experienced a real and alive Jesus."
    • "You have shown me the real life!"
    • "I have been delivered from religion."
    • "Wow! My whole belief system has been changed by the revelation of the true Message."
    • "The new friendships that we all made were straight from Heaven."

God gave me a divine connection with two young men from Hungary. They will be translating and printing our books into their language as well as planning meetings in Hungary and the surrounding nations for us. It is so exciting to see God open up doors for us to go and minister.

Thank you for participating with your prayers and finances in all that God is doing through us to get His message to the world!

Check out the DVD "Exposing the Joy Thieves" that we are offering this month. It would make a great gift for yourself or a loved one for Christmas!

Excited about God's love and peace,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

Dear Friends and Partners of Dave Duell Ministries,

Thank you so much for your faithful giving!  We would also like to give an extra thanks to those of who gave toward our new printer.  We know God will supply the entire amount.

A partner wrote us after listening to the new CD set, “Duells Tell All.” “Thank you so much for your honesty and your graciousness. My daughter and I feel so much love for you all. . . It is wonderful that we don’t have to wear masks, that we can be real with one another because of His wonderful grace.”

August was a tremendous month. We traveled to England for our third annual Faith Ministries International Network European Youth Camp. We were in High Wycombe, the very town where terrorists were plotting unimaginable evil by bombing planes over American cities, we were seeing miracles and lives changed for God. The world was paralyzed with fear whilst we moved in faith.

Fourteen of our USA youth worked very hard to raise money in order to attend both the US and European camps. We are so proud of each of our youth. They are so gifted, leading the worship, acting in the dramas, teaching the music and dance workshops and leading the team challenge games.

Statistics show that if a person does not know Jesus by the age of fourteen, they only have a thirteen percent chance of receiving Jesus later in life. The Holy Spirit did His awesome work and the third night that I ministered, I was impressed to become a mime. As I turned around as Jesus, some of the young people said that a wind hit them. I walked around and ministered to every one of them with prophetic words. The love of God hit them and they began to cry and minister to one another. I had them go to the back of the room to the huge world map on the wall and lay their hands on places where they wanted to go. Words cannot express the emotion that filled their hearts. Only eternity will tell the difference.

There was such an atmosphere of love. The young people cried when they left each other, and we heard that they cried when they got home because of the love of God.

Our grandson, Connor, 8, can hardly wait until he is old enough to attend Youth Camp. He told his parents recently, “You should not have waited so long to get married. If you had married sooner, I’d be a teenager now and I could go to Youth Camp!”

The two-day gathering with our European Network Partners was great time of sharing vision and ministering to each other. We have the best people in the world to work with to expand the Kingdom of God.

We then had a public meeting in Coventry where we had a house full of people. A youth pastor brought his youth group from London and were they ever blessed. They saw miracles and the love of God demonstrated in a powerful way.

Bonnie and I were blessed with a week trip to an island in Greece.  To walk along the beach next to the Mediterranean Sea, swim, rest and eat great Greek food was something we both enjoyed so much.

Are you vibrantly aware that God is in love with YOU?! There’s a big difference between trying to love God and knowing that He’s in love with you. If you recognize and receive God’s love fresh every day, you’ll have plenty to share with others! Is your Christian life complicated? You’re in religion! God wants you to live simply—receiving and giving His unconditional love.

Order the 4 CD Audio Series, “Knowing Perfect Love,” and begin to experience the reality of I John 4:10, “In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us...”

It’s not too late to join us for our US FMIN Men’s Conference in Winter Park, Colorado, September 8-10. Call Ed Shirley:  303.697.5035; email: edshirley1@aol.com. Experience for yourself the overwhelming love God has for you.

    We love you,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

    Dear Friends,

Bonnie and I just returned from our Faith Ministries International Network Youth Camp in Breckenridge, Colorado. Around 150 young people from many states were in attendance. When the first note was played by the praise band, the young people ran to the front to praise God. During the week, ten young people were saved and 30 baptized in the Holy Spirit. It was the best camp we have had in the last seven years. The Holy Spirit did an awesome work in these young people. They are so free and excited about the Good News Message.

At FMCI the Saturday evening following Youth Camp, the youth ministered during the entire service. The youth band played, testimonies and dances were shared and two of our granddaughters, Gentry and Kendyll Merrell, did the preaching (listen online now). We are now gearing up for our European Youth Camp in England next week.

Here are a few testimonies from Youth Camp. A father said to me, “Thank you for giving me two new sons.” In my Holy Spirit class we saw a counselor who was pigeon toed from birth get instantly healed. One young man who was saved and filled with the Spirit said, “You really got my attention, I was expecting hell and damnation and you showed me God’s love.”

We just had a wonderful weekend with Bonnie’s newly discovered brother. She didn’t know he existed until several months ago. Dave is from Homewood, Illinois and is an awesome guy. She also has a sister, Betty, who lives in Milwaukee, and we look forward to meeting her someday soon.

Here are some nuggets on how to win in this race called life. We all have to encourage ourselves in the Lord at different times. Our daily prayer should be, “Lord, give me the determination and tenacity of a weed.” It’s been said that a great oak tree is only a little nut that held its ground. Paul said in II Corinthians 4:17 TLB, “These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won’t last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God’s richest blessing upon us forever and ever!”

Refuse to be discouraged. Never let disappointment get the upper hand. Challenges can spur you on to greater efforts. I know this is true in my own life. You have to hang in there and believe what God said to you. If you don’t see results right away, don’t worry. All great achievements require much time, tenacity and money. Continue persevering because the last key on the ring may be the one that opens the door. Become famous for finishing important, difficult tasks.

Ninety percent of all failures result from people quitting too soon. “And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up” Galatians 6:9 (TLB). A diamond is just a hunk of coal that stuck to its job and made good under pressure.

We are purchasing a new printer for our publications. Can you help us make this technological improvement a reality by giving a generous gift? You will be helping to further our Good News ministry throughout the world!

    For His glory,

    Dave and Bonnie Duell

    Dear Partner and Friend,

Thank you again for your love and support. I have a feeling as though we are in an awesome time with God with the vision He has given to us. I feel a great breakthrough is here, and we will have to adjust as to how to make our time count the most in expanding the Kingdom. Your faithfulness to us is so appreciated.

June has been a very busy month for us. We had our FM International Network World Conference here in Denver, and boy, did we celebrate! People came from many different places in the world. We had Ton Sampaio from Brazil, Phil Edyvean from Australia, and Dennis and Denise Capra from Kansas City, Missouri here in our home. We laughed a lot and planned great trips for next year. We will be taking a team to Brazil for you big meetings next March.

At our local church meeting right before Father’s Day, I asked those who had never received their father’s blessing to come forward for a “Father’s Blessing.” Here is the testimony of a woman whose father committed suicide when she was thirteen years old:

When you called us forward to receive the Father’s Blessing, I went forward eagerly and asked for boldness and wisdom to use the power that is within me. I felt so confident that I was going to get what I asked for!! It wasn’t until after the service that I realized—this is the first time I did not feel a sense of lack or missing something in relation to “fathering’! I just feel so full and complete; it didn’t even cross my heart or mind. I have no sense of lack, I have no sense of missing out on something, I just feel full, full, full. I am thankful for my earthly father, I am thankful for my heavenly father, and I am thankful for my spiritual fathers, all who have given into my life in such incredible ways. Thank you for loving and encouraging us, and thank you for being such incredible people! I love you with all my heart. Your spiritual daughter, sister, and co-worker.

Here is a note from a 10-year-old girl who came to church with her parents. “Dear Dave Duell. You are my favorite Pastor so I hope that you are alive when I grow up and I hope you are still a Pastor because I want to go to your church. You make me laugh. I love you very much. Happy Fathers Day. Love, Melanie”

I had the privilege to be a speaker again at Gerald Derstine’s camp in Strawberry Lake, Minnesota for six days. Wow, did we have a great time! Miracles were flowing all over the place and people were experiencing the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. The camp was full with hundreds present in the evening meetings. God is Great!!

    We love you!

    Dave and Bonnie Duell
